I was Just reaching out & thanking you & those involved who had a Passion for this Modding project & wanted to share some suggestive ideas, that could possibly be useful or inspire this project or another you might undertake further. That’s it!

Honestly I think using HTH for whatever purposes you will is great, and a good way to stick it to Crow tbh. Why not use the characters for whatever you will. That being said, I wouldn't be expecting anything from flash unless its something entirely brand new. Its not just that they're busy - which they all have been as you glimpsed from Lotus - but the fact that the code is just such a complete fucking mess that doing anything with it requires a godforsaken amount of time and labour. And for what? For a franchise thats decades old and will just earn you the ire of a creator whose arrogance is only matched by his incompetence

Do something new with it, make models or go do whatever. I think its fun and I always find new HTH content from anyone but Crow kinda hilarious, but I wouldn't make requests of the old mod team at all. God knows they've done enough, and while I can see your intention you did come on a bit strong I feel lol

Its already happened before I think, like a decade ago he got into a spat over fanart using his "copyright" which is why theres a massive dropoff in fanart around the early 2010s I think. I might be misremembering it since this is, you know, years old at this point lol. Its not about exposing him, at this point its just putting things that were actually promising to good use rather than whatever Crow is up to nowadays

I'm still in that Discord to lurk, genuinely can't remember the last time there was anything close to a dev update beyond vagaries making minor stuff seem massive lmao

No one is angry I typed this sarcastically. You're without realizing asking someone to devote hundreds of hours of dev time to something that nets nothing but disdain. I think it might be a wiser idea to take what we've learned from this franchise and head off to make our own unique characters and properly back their development in games or media. Dealing with anything relating to Crow does not seem prudent. There's tons of tutorials out there to get a basic game framework set up for a game, and tons more on simple 3D modeling. I suggest to each of you to try out the waters and make something new because we the pirates were the calvary that was needed to bring this project to completion and now that all resource has been spent, its up to the few of you who are left.

hi i'm enjoying both the high-tail-hall collection & new cyana. whomever modded the games recently & managed to add new content, creambee, etc. thank you so much. just wondering though is it possible to somehow combine the new cyana islands with the older high tail hall flash animations?, without putting the actual animations into unity itself? maybe its possible to put standalone images of characters instead? maybe created using .ai to replicate crows artstyle? but with no interactive dialogue? new cyana could act as the main Explorable hub world, then when you interact with a stationary character, and click on them its like a hyperlink? that boots up the other animation system & world? and when you close it down, it just takes you back to the main game new cyana? anyways im curious if anyone thinks it might be possible to do it that way? or have some ideas of their own, how they could be combined. i cant do it myself, but im just wondering if its possible?

There is no way to include Flash object in Unity engine. You can open hyperlink from Unity. I'm not sure if you can start a standalone binary executable form Unity. But it does not make much sense to open standalone Flash player app windows from the game.
Converting Flash animation to Unity takes an effort. You have to export all graphic objects, convert vector graphic to bitmap images and redo the animation manually. And because Crowchild has got more and more lazy and won't commit any effort anymore, only few animations are converted and most are half assed in comparison to original.

I don't see reason to combine 2D animations with 3D world myself. Let alone with mediocre and underwhelming New Cyana world.
Anyway the only we can hope for is that something like Wild Life game sandbox advances enough to include advanced character model modification feature so we can modify characters to look like any HTH favorite NPC. That combined with WL community created Sandbox maps and wast amount of excellent WL animations would yield all we can ever hope for.

I took a look at that New Cyana through a linked copy, first time I ever bothered, and I was amazed at what a complete waste of time it seemed to be. A huge open world which you walked through at a snails pace to look at nothing and interact with fuck all. I get the argument its early access, which granted hes been working on it for years now so thats an absurd thing to grant him but even if I did; why isnt he devving in stages? Build and area and expand, why the hell spend years on an empty unity sandbox that does not even look that good?

I'm aware me saying this is redundant - we all know Crow - but it remains such an intriguing case study in time wasting I can't look away. Best thing that could be done is HTH is handed over to the masses to do what they will. A little late for it but there it is. Wonder what the next engine will be?

And that's exactly what I mean - being anti-AI in a case where it literally would do better work than him is just being ANTI for the sake of being ANTI.

Crow did nothing of value for years. Years. I'm all for AI usage if that would push it in any meaningful direction (which it will).
There was even a time when I've considered spitting Crow and doing something myself but then I realized I could just use this energy to make something of my own xD
