Unity - Hail Dicktator [v0.75.1] [Hachigames]

This is probably all around the best game I have played since discovering this site. Great renders, every character looks good and unique. The writing and the characterization does a good job engaging me during my playtime, the quests aren't too grindy and tedious(the money system is broken and grindy, but given you can always use the cheat, no big deal to me) to go through. There is also a good balance of erotic content, story, and game mechanics. Just overall a great game that goes right up my alley. 5/5

Tried it, Liked it, Recommend it. If you have played games like harem hotel and liked them i would suggest you play this also, great game, money is slow at the start but dont worry it greatly picks up and is a non issue later.

I got mixed feeling with this game
On one side The game has great moments but on the other side there are annoying moments like trying to trigger a quest and you need to wait until one of the girls is in a a spefic place and that can take few days

There is clothing shop but you can't buy new outfits only once you buy somthing for a quest

Story was not bad but not good either

Renders are perfect
No bugs
lot of grind for stats to trigger new events
money cheat was really great that helped reduced the money grind alot

This game is average

Engaging story writing with unique character personalities
Sandbox choices that make sense and very easy to navigate
story progression is fluid so you can't proceed or miss content if you get lost or forget about something.
No senseless grinding other than making money to purchase things to progress the story.
Models are gorgeous.
Management aspects work well, relate to the story and make sense
So Much more to rave about...

Cons,
Only real con is that some of the characters act dumber than they really are but it's a bit expected in a female domination type game.
No animations, but it's not really the type of game that needs animations.

This is one of the best games I played. I played version 0.13.8 and it has REALY impressive amount of content considering how new it is. It took me 2 days to complete all of the current quests.

Pros:

• character models are unique and didn't appear in other games (as far as I know)
• everyone has unique character traits (especialy considering it is a harem game)
• graphics are good (no animations tho)
• a lot of content and interesting story and quests
• a lot of BDSM elements (for some people it might be a con tho)

Cons:

• no animations (it currently has only one at the end of the current version of the game it isn't good)
• grind, especialy at the start of the game, better use money cheat.

Tremendous game. Really well put together and professional looking. Even included a roll back function which you do not see a lot in non-renpy games. The game can be a bit grindy in the beginning, especially when a quest seems to be very urgent but you have to wait several days to make enough money to buy a quest item (though this may have been a me issue buying stuff i didn't need early on). This is small potatoes really as the game quickly takes off and grinding stats and/or money are never really a problem after the first in game two weeks or so. The game also contains a detailed hint/quest system so getting stuck is never really an issue.

Great unique and engaging story and tremendous characters with a lot of depth and heart. Think Tropico meets Harem Hotel. A really great and interesting focus on BDSM content too, though it is never overly violent or mean spirited. Models are all pretty unique looking and attractive. Renders also look great.

The only other issue is the lack of animations. There are a ton of really hot scenes and situations but the lack of animations holds them back a bit. The dev is starting to add animations which is great.

Regardless of small issues here or there this is a top tier game: polished, great story, great characters and hot scenes.
Everyone should play this game

This game has various issues. Theres is a vibe of "cheapness" in everything. More than funny, the game is silly. Theres a thin line between funny and cheap, and for me, as of right now is more like cheap. The plot is cheap, how things are explained is cheap, the names are cheap, the "more coming soon" disclaimers are cheap and also there inmersion breakers.There are plenty fo those in every corner.

Other issue this game has is that things have no value, they are almost given to you with no effort and almost like out of nowhere, or you need to ask permission to a third party to activate them. For instance Alice who you barely know, but after making her take a couple of cooking lessons she gladly masturbates for you.

Some renders look decent and others look visibly grainy. Girls are the same copypaste DAZ, so nothing new. Most of the girls are trans with surgery vaginas, some girls are even a bit bulky so you dont have doubts of what you are "fucking"

A good thing this game has, specially for unity, are the menus, those are really nice menus.

Im at 91% and when the plot had relevance also had a lot of inconsitencies that made me want to delete the game. I endured it in hopes of a better tomorrow. No luck.

If you are not into bdsm and stuff, since the game is sandboxy, dont play it, cause you are going to shorten your lifespan, maybe drastically. ITs boring and repetitive as hell. If you like some specific girl, expectations may keep you playing. In the end you will get nothing.

If you like asking permission to a third party to enforce a punishment, this is your game.

EDIT for 0.27:

Please if you are not into BDSM dont play it cause its like 10 hours of 98% spanking gagging, and bondage, and all. It becomes a senseless bdsm fest where everyone punishes everyone almost for no reason. The 2 twins are out of your reach, dont expect sex with them. This game is not new and those girls are in the BJ, and the same for a couple others.
I repeat: unless you like the redhead who has some content, dont play this game, you are only gonna suffer. And sex scenes are not that good.

Only problem i have is the game being slow and annoying at some points but to be honest even those where some what interesting.

I would like to give this game a higher rating, but there is a problem It is Boring.
The Island scenario and the abilities and such are a bit interesting, they are not interesting enough to keep on playing though.
I Have played this since it first started, kept up hope it would gain more imagination and new things would be added, so far disappointed.
The graphics aren't bad, The animations on the other hand suck i am sorry to say. There is so little in the way of sexual content, it feels amateur.
Should get tips from other devs on improving the animations and adding more to the sex play, what is there so far is not impressive. As well what is the deal with the dungeon, most of sex play and such is for this dungeon, when it really needs more in all areas.
I do give credit to the dev for adding new content in short amounts of time, although i am not a fan of the bit by bit quest and stars thing. Reminds me of so many other story/games with the same, and each update they add a star or something to a quest. It Is boring, and only allows an excuse to do little updates at a time.
Again this story/game has possibilities, but as it is, it definitely needs improving especially in amounts of animations. I keep watch on it, but i doubt it will actually change in the future. It's an amateur attempt at a game in my opinion.

A real gem about running your own banana republic! The game starts a bit slow because your MC appears rather helpless but just stick with the story and you'll notice that it gets really good about an hour or two into it. At least that was the experience for me. I love the narrative. the CGSs and most of all the casual sandbox interactions with the girls. This game has so much potential to grow and I hope you'll give it your support as well

Objectively speaking this is a pretty nice game. But Hail Dicktator reminded me once again why I don't like sandbox/dating sim/management games. After a few hours with barely any sexual content and no story to compensate for that, I finally asked myself the question: 'WHY am I still playing this game?'


It's not all bad though. The visuals look really good, with some very nice renders and gorgeous female models. It feels polished. The story takes place on a colorful tropical island with multiple realistic looking locations. So far so good.

The story is that of a typical sandbox game. In other words: there's plenty of dialogue but none of the characters actually say anything. It's just empty smalltalk to fill up the story, or explanations about certain quests that need to be completed. But there is no real overarching storyline that keeps you hooked.

However, my main problem with this game is the endless grind. Due to the combination of sandbox AND management AND dating sim it takes you forever to get anywhere. And that's fine if ultimately the payoff outweighs the trouble, but it doesn't. You have to earn money, manage your hotel, visit different locations, raise a girl's stats, and complete several quests. And after all that you get to see some titties... Yeah...... You can easily spend several hours on this game without anything noteworthy happening.

So long story short: if you generally like sandbox/dating sim/management games you will probably like this one as well. The setup, design and visuals are great, but the gameplay requires a lot of patience.

Frankly, I would give this game a 3.5/5 if I could but I'll just round it up. It's got a goofy, comedic story and the protagonist is unremarkable. That being said, the sex scenes are nice, it covers a few kinks and fetishes and overall has a nice cast of characters to fool around with. The writing left more than a bit to be desired in my opinion, but the scenarios for the sex are hot so it sort of makes up for it (meh). If you're bored and looking to try out a new title just give it a shot for an hour or so and you'll know if you're interested or not. 3.5/5 please don't make this into a grind fest or I probably won't touch it again, and I sorta want to touch it again okay

I went in expecting honestly not much. Seemed like a regular VN. Started off with the usual - you are a loser and here is a hotel for you to manage because your uncle died.

However this game honestly surprised me with how good the story and the characters were and how much the story's twists and turns compelled me.

Game mechanics:
Pretty decent all in all. You can move around the island using the map menus and clicking through the actions is fairly straight forward.

The time mechanics of when someone will be where was interesting and gamey in a dating sim kind of way, and it was fun to have to wait sometimes to set up the perfect circumstance to woo another character at the right location.

The management aspects start off as fairly limited and you will feel like it's hard to make money at first as you are limited to only one area of improving your hotel and it isn't straight forward how you can open the others. And to be honest the management will always feel just like content gating for other activities not an actual fleshed out product.

Visuals.
Visuals are very pretty. The scenes look nice and lighting for all of them is well done.

Conclusion.
As mentioned in the intro - this game is carried heavily by it's well written characters who you will find somehow bonding with throughout the journey of finding out WTF is happening on the island. And it is so good that i was itching to go back to the game after playing 4h on the first day. And finishing it off in about ~10 hours total play time.

The problem with this game is its camera angles. They're basically the same shots every time. You get one "Photo-shoot" angle and it feels fake.

It's less like an immersive story and more like the girls posed for a photo and then moved on. There's no close up, no other angles, no nothing.

Someone could have just yelled, "Pose!" and taken a photo. Then someone came along and added words.

If a girl is gonna "pose" for me, I would get a close up of her pussy. Her ass, her breasts. etc. Instead of just the far shot, all the girls have.

EDIT: The girls do get some "close-ups" later in the game, but it still feels like a photo-shoot and less like a guy getting laid.

Dialogue and story are as about as deep as the typical VN.

Not a bad story overall, models look great. With high hopes I played much longer than I should have.
I ended up grinding 5 hours with no good sexual content to justify the grind (i.e ,blue balls) but its just personal. Worth a try though, it might be for you.

Story: Weird and unusual, i thought "this game is gonna be boring", glad to be proven wrong.

Originality: Unusual, which is good, it's so weird that it's actually good.

Renders: Good graphic, i love it.

Sound: It's standard, nothing to say, nothing to comment.

Playability: Optimal.

Performance: Usually games made with Unity are bad, but like very very bad, like PC-crashing level of bad, but this one is the exception and i love it!.

Bugs: didn't notice them

Animations: Well Made.

Voice Acting: There isn't but i've zero problems with it.

Grammar: it's understandable which means that i've nothing to say about it.

Amount of content: Just Wow, at lof of it.

Extra: i was sure that the maid was a trap at first XD too nice, too adorable XD

UPDATE: Just played the most recent version and I have to stay the game overall is still disappointing. The "animations" haven't improved at all. They are still a loop of 2 images, and you only get 1 or 2 angles at most. The same boring generic music being used is the same as a half a dozen other VN's that I've played over the last few years. The dialogue gives me a headache trying to understand it 98% of the time. Maybe, just maybe with a major overhaul the game could be pretty decent. I might check back in another 2 to 3 years to see if it's still being made, and if any major improvements have been implemented.


Two words can describe this game. Boring Grindfest. The "hint" system is very basic and doesn't really help in any way at all. Using words to describe the action when the MC is getting intimate with the women was being used by game devs 3 or 4 years ago. Even simple animations would make the game more enjoyable and immersive.

I've been watching / playing this game for a few updates and have to say it's been pretty disappointing. Every time I go to do rewards / punishments the same notice keeps coming up update after update that there will be more in future updates. Are we going to have to wait another dozen updates before that part of the game gets updated? I thought the major part of the game was the reward / punishment part of it?

If you haven't played this game yet I would wait at least 6 months or longer before playing. Maybe by then the dev will wake up and start updating more of the game mechanics that the game is based on. Plus no new dialogue has been updated for the part of the game that I've played. It's just the same boring questions over and over. When the women hit a certain level with the stats more questions should be added. Isn't the MC trying to learn more about the island and the history? How can that happen when the dialogue updates are slower than molasses on a cold day?

When i first started playing this game, it was for the premise, but now its more for the story(the premise is still good). as each update rolls out, the story gets more and more intriguing. this is much more than a take control and subdue/corrupt everyone game, it allso holds one of the (in my opinion atleast) best stories of any adult game i have played.

Although the game requires a little bit of grinding and certain events take place at certain days, the plot is very engaging so the grind is worth it.
All the girls are well written and have their unique personalities. Their models differ, but not so much - they are all very good-looking.
There is room for more fetishes, hopefully more plot twists and much more harem fun filthy degrading sex.

As a constructive criticism - there is also a room for at least one more or less girl who is capable of showing more or less domination behavior towards the MC. The cast is amazing as it is, but for now they are all sexually submissive regardless of their personalities.
