I've received a couple of reports about this bug now. It's weird, everything in the code looks good and as far as I can tell from my own playtesting it should be working. I'll try rebuilding the way the event works before the next update to hopefully fix it, for now even if you can't see her, you may still be able to talk to her if you interact with the tile she is standing on.
She is directly south of the maid, in the little nook in the wall there. Just walk up to that square and press the usual key to interact and her dialogue should still work.
