After you get the key/beat the level you can return to the level without having to do the minigame/key thing as long as you've saved afterward. However you still have to break the boarded-up Staff door/entrance.

for the press e to release balls pic just about every button on the keyboard releases the balls. So yeah you could just mindlessly aim and still possibly get 4000.

Wow. I hate this new art. This seriously feels like one of the only games I've played where each update makes me like the game less.
I did really like the purposeful loss scene with the pony in the hallway. That's a pretty cool idea.

So no idea why everyone hating on the new update, you have 8 new scenes in the update and a nice preview of the new area. There is dialogue for the first time with both characters looking amazing I might add!
As for the fetishes I see a lot of people saying smelly, this is a furry game that's not a bad odour it is an intoxicating musk. You know musk like what humans use in real life harvested from the musk glands of animals (deer, muskrat, crocodiles, etc....) and used in perfumes. It is highly likely that while you type here complaining about the smelly animation being disgusting you have a perfume at home you put on that contains musk in it the very thing you are now saying is smelly, LOL!!!!!!!
Male deer use their musk glands to attract mates with an overwhelmingly delicious smell that is so intoxicating it makes their potential mate filled with lust that she can't control herself anymore and lets the male deer mate with her.
Many other female animals when in heat release a hormonal scent to attract a male mate. Female dogs and cats for example have this when in heat. For male dogs and cats the smell is intoxicating and triggers an immediate erection and urge to mate.
So the scent/musk futa is furry is releasing in this update is just that, not smelly but a nice intoxicating aroma. Nothing to be grossed out or disgusted by. If you are disgusted by it then I recommend to stop wearing perfumes

People always find something to complain about. and if ain't futa/musky femdom then must be because vore or any other weird fetish that people find like the ultimate sin for game development lololol!
But yeah you said it the game developer its a furry and likes many kinks like the ABDL unless i'm wrong or missing out something from the first game HHH? but anyways i just hope to see more kinks being added into the game because so far no matter how much time it takes i guess the wait its totally worth it

HHH actually had less fetishes than HHP but it was quite a small RPGM game and some of the stuff in HHH are featured again in HHP but obviously now fully animated rather than 2D drawings.
Personally I find ABDL a big turnoff but it is easy to avoid fetishes in this game and you can also just press R to escape out of any animation and reload your last save point and then you just know to never lose to that enemy again to avoid that fetish. I see the big variety of fetishes in this game as a strong plus for it and a lot of the fetishes do go together very well. If you like traps and yaoi you will likely like futa, if you like futa you will like forms of femdom, transformation/bimbofication etc....
Obviously I am generalising here and there is bound to be a fetish you don't like. I hate ABDL, scat, vore, pissing, gore/guro for example but yet I do also love such a large variety of fetishes that it is just too long to list, though this game features quite a few of the ones I love.

I don't like ABDL, but I don't mind playing the area because I like the combat, and it gives me extra reason to not lose XD.
I really like how the characters so obviously have personality, just from the way they're animated/attack/ and react in scenes. I enjoy the dirty little world DoggieBones has made.

- The HHH Ver. 1.3 (The best game I've played and the way I found this developer)

- An alpha of http game "EndsOfTheUniverse_0.04" (it was dropped a long time ago and pretty fun to play for 10-30 minutes)
The only thing that twists me is unability to play the unrelesed game (it existes), but it was a private birthday present and I don't want to be a dick about it.
[If someone interested, as far as I understant it is about Sam and her brother Nola in the other school or facility... (Suprising thing is that there is even a sprite of one of the foes from that game in the HHH Ver. 1.3)]

I think it is worth noting that Doggie Bones himself says on his Patreon that you should consider stopping your pledge and simply re-pledge whenever new content is out that you want to see.
While I do agree that once you open yourself up to contributions you become a business in essence and no longer just a hobbyist game developer, I do think it is important note to blow things out of proportion either from the consumer side (our side, the people who fund the dev on Patreon)
Especially when there are other devs with games on F95 that get even more money than Doggie Bones pulls in and continues to not only miss every single update target but just fails to deliver new content. There is a game on this forum that has been in development for over 4 years now and pulls in 13K USD per month on Patreon and what does that give you after 4 years of development and 13K per month? 1 test level, about 6 enemies and a grand total of about 8 h-animations..... 4 years, 13K per month.......
This update in its current shape already has more content than the game I mentioned above and this game as a whole has been in development for 3 years and has the content and levels to show for it.
As long as the dev continues to provide new, proper, content at reasonable intervals then I don't see the need to complain especially when this dev has continued to deliver over these 3 years and I expect the teased content will be available in the coming months.
There is a fine line between being a responsible gamer/consumer and giving valid criticism or complaints --- and being a self entitled whiner complaining about non-issues.
I think a good example of this and I am guilty for this too is in Star Wars. I complained a lot about the prequels when they came out and well all these years later we got the Rey trilogy and I realised just how good we had it when George Lucas was at the helm of Star Wars and my complaints were not actually valid good complaints I was just being a self-entitled fangirl idiot.
The line can be very hard to see sometimes but when a game like Happy Heart Panic has continued to get consistent updates over these past 3 years I do feel any complaints about promised or teased content being a few months late is crossing said line.
That is my opinion on it in any case.
