i suppose its something of a double standard i have then. i cant expect constant updates from a pirating site, but i also cant afford to pay manually to get access to these things. my only other option is to just wait and see, but those videos felt like such a long time ago not even gonna lie.

for those not on the discord, we got a small update from doggie, they said they're trying their best to get this thing out before the end of august.

wouldn't you be pissed two if you were promised bi / tri-monthly updates that had massive amounts of content only to feel like years have gone by and you're still obligated to pay monthly as a patreon member? This is just suspicious behavior at this point. The fact that you're not even getting build update descriptions upon release: and instead having them locked behind a paywall, should raise at least SOME concern.

Doggie used to get out massive updates bi and tri-monthly? And all we ask is: "The heck is going on over there?" to get the cold shoulder... I'm thankful for the news, but geez: where has he/she been?

Man. This new update is going on for so long that we got to the point of history when AI is starting to creep into Hollywood and a bunch of army peeps are confessing to know about Aliens. Fun times are happening.

yknow what, im willing to give doggie the benefit of the doubt on this one, just this once. this update, at bare minimum, is going to include 2 new enemies in an entirely different style of gameplay from what we've experienced previously. a stealth/escort mission with what will hopefully be really nice animations and game overs (rip Byte, but we couldnt have everything, hopefully the wraith thing will be nice). and this is coming with an entirely new area pretty much, since this is essentially making Jessie's Dollhouse a mission-sized level, instead of a PVP enabled bar. additionally, with the timeframe of "before the end of august", while slightly upsetting that its already taken this long, is decent in the fact that theyve set themselves a goal to meet and announced it. should hopefully keep us pirates satisfied and quiet lol. all in all, id say this update is shaping up to be a decent recovery from the clusterfluff that was the combat rework we had prior.
