Well, not for me. I saved the files beforehand as usual and copied the new version onto it, put the data and the save game from the old version in and it was gone-_- had to start over.
hola gente me disculpo por escribir esto en español pero es para poder explicar bien como hice para poder pasar la partida guardada de la version vieja a la nueva; En la imagen que muestro arriba esta mi version vieja del happy y la de abajo es la nueva al copiar la carpeta "backtofile" a la carpeta del juego resulta en que el juego no las acepta, asi que revisando vi que en la carpeta "happy island fantasy_data" existen los mismos 2 archivos mostrados en la imagen, pense que no era una coincidencia y decidi pegar mi archivos de save ahi sueltos y sobreescrivir los de la nueva vercion, al abrir el juego y poner cargar partida mi juego guardado de la vercion vieja aparecio en el cuadro de guardado automatico del juego y asi pude solucionarlo espero sirva

Yes, that's how I always did it, but it wasn't there when loading the game or when automatically saving, it was completely gone. but in addition to that everything is back to zero at gallery
I have copied all .dat files (both inside Happy Island Fantasy_Data and inside BackupsFile), and the saves seem to work.

For anyone that has a ver Happy Island Fantasy ver.1.0.4.1b don't use this file, it will corrupt the dll.
Might of been before but the save location is in the game folder inside Happy Island Fantasy_Data

guys i having problem with that fcker ryo guy abt racing i have 200 stamina it keep on going down 150 how much i try any idea how to do this plz im stuck with this biass

You need to spam run to win against Ryo, and maybe the older version is bugged.
And you can easily win again Ryo if you keep spamming run (not hold the button) and not fallling down.
In the same time, chapter 1 be like: there are 2 chickens on the island, so the egg price is expensive... Village chief treated MC 1 of them, the last chicken lay 5 eggs a day.

I've got all but one item left to complete in the Happy Manual, which is to get the proper ending of Margaret's storyline. Has the Ancient Tome item been implemented yet, and if so, how do you get it? Trying to complete Margaret's storyline without getting that first leads to a Bad Ending.
i was playing on v1.00 something maybe it was bugged but so hard to play from the beginning ill try v1.04 maybe its will work thnkx
