Whenever I boot up the game my mouse can't respond to any clicks. I can hover it still, but what's worse is if I tabbed out my mouse is really not responding. Is there any fix to this?
i was getting ready to drop a bad review on this game for how shallow and basic it was at the start, and how quickly i got all the girls, then the game dropped such a plot twist when i was about to drop it.

The update from Ryuu seems to be defective. I updated everything and transferred the save. Now the game has been loading itself to death for 12 minutes when booting.
hm... does the same issue occurs with version 1.03? if it does, do let me know so that i can remove my previous reply. thanks!

Well, this is what happened to me. I put the data from the new version from the link above into the existing folder and replaced everything except the saves. I then added my save games. So now I have the new version and it should work, but nothing happens. The game starts and I get the background with the sky and the clouds and the loading symbol at the bottom and it loads itself to death. The game no longer starts and doesn't go any further.

It's unlocked by default, just buy bait from Olivia and do fishing on the pier right bottom corner of the village. 10 attempts a day, do until you get exactly that type of fish.
