Kino is almost here!
I'm burning that midnight fuel and got another Dragon Maid animation update for you tonight! This is scene number 18 of the project, where Tohru stops herself from cumming by pulling out for a second. It took a bit of time to get the pullout right, but I think it turned out looking nice and tight.
Just a few more more scenes to animate now, and hopefully I can do them quickly as they aren't super long. I am a bit concerned about all the backgrounds I still need to draw as well, but we'll get to that bridge soon enough!
And I hope you know I probably wouldn't be able to overcome the burnout without all of your amazing support, so I will keep doing my best to get this done. So thank you!!

Am I the only one who wants to see more animations like this one in the future? Sure, they take a while to come out, but the previews look great and I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Short loops get old quickly, by comparison.
Of course long animations are better I agree with but when it's a long time to make the meal you gotta give the fans some snacks to open their appetite and make them look forward to the main course you know what I am saying

I understand; but when there's only one cook, that would delay the main course even more, if you don't mind me borrowing your food analogy.

Nothing update unfortunately
Hi! Got another progress update for you on the Dragon Maid project. Although I did my best to get the animation done by the end of November unfortunately everyone came- I mean uh December came quick. Even now with all my experience I still underestimate the work that needs to get done (or rather how fast I can do it).
The silver lining I suppose is I've got a few scenes to share with you today! Most of which are basically just Tohru reacting to things.
But yeah I'd like to apologize for not getting the final animation out when I said I would. I do tend to not think about the amount of work I need to do in order to not get demoralized, but that also has the drawback of.... well, not knowing the actual amount of work I still need to do. haha. Who would have guessed?
I have a couple more scenes to animate plus backgrounds and such too. And I swear I will do my damnest to get this thing done this month, and by God it will be a white Christmas just you wait and see. So I will get back to it, and thank you as always for your incredible patience with me and your support. Thank you!

This isn't supposed to be as negative as it sounds, but I'm very curious why he has not taken the time to create an overview for himself with how much is done / has to be done, since he complains about that every other post..
Thank you for posting the update this fast though!!
Well Lookin good so far, Hopefully this'll be a lesson he keeps in mine when He decides to do another huge project.

when the people realize how much money this guy has milked from his patrons just with this anim, they gonna crazy lmao
Way I see it, people tend to care less about slow releases if:
1. The creator is making good content (they are)
2. The creator isn't a dickhead (they aren't)
He doesn't start drama, he consistently gives progress reports, and his work is fire; he can take his time.
For real, Degen is nothing like those gachaslop frauds that took 2 and a half years to make a boring animation that they swore was almost finished for 16 months.

You mean Vicineko and his Fischl Animation?^^ Would not say Gacha is slop but everyone their kink, atleast he finished it but tbf it wasn't that great to take such a long time, and now he does it again with Melody XD Degen on the other Hand looks more like someone you can see they Animate it and finish the Job in a Still timely Manner because there are Multiple positions and not just 2 angles^^.
This isn't DragK where he takes forever to put out basic things on a 5 seconds loop for 40 seconds, hops around projects so most are never finished, splits up videos among different pay sites (now THIS would piss me off, especially when one is Fanbox aka censored mosaic slop), then doesn't release them for free asap, if ever.
Guy puts his stuff out for free + has high quality stuff. Unless you're paying yourself, go sit down and wait like everyone else. We don't know his daily schedule and responsibilities.
Forgot to mention the updates and progress reports showing the new stuff. Just collect that till the final is done.

Exactly this. One of the few artists I've genuinely wanted to sub to and support their work, but can't because I'm dirt poor.
