Really? Now everyone has to start from scratch? Didn't put that in the changelog.... the system save folder is completely different. RenPy thinks is a whole different VN. Why was this done?
Pre v0.05 save folder was "RenPy/HardtoLove-1632286173"
Now it's "RenPy/HardtoLove-052023"
ゆかな Why was this done bud? No heads-up? Are they different stories?

This is a continuation of the old game (season 2 as it says). For those who don't play the previous season, this has no previous content from that season except letting you choose your choices from it. Shouldn't you include the previous season since they're different now?

Yeah, regardless of whether we know the characters or not, 90% of flashbacks are shit, it's a shit resource. There are more effective ways to tell the past of a character than flashbacks, and in a porn game they're even more annoying. but suppose you want to do a flashback ok, you could have done one of 5 minutes to tell something specific or make it clear what was the state of the mc, but two whole updates full of flashbacks??? It is very boring and it is something that made a great majority of the public lose interest in this game

Tried moving my 0.042 saves from my old folder but ofcourse that didn't work and just forced me into a new playthrough.

it was said before, and not once
old saves wont work, and new version is just chapter 5
you answer key choices you did after start, and new content stars
first 4 chapters will stay standalone, untill they will be fixed, reworked and rewritten in the future

According to the loading screen it's now Season 2.... we haven't even finished Season 1 so I don't know WTF is going on. I gotta dig deeper...Yep not annoying at all

Yeah I just started a new game and it's asking me about my choices in S1... I love how this games biggest twist is its own updates being completely disconnected from each other.
It's like the dev didn't play their own game and just keep making shit up as they go for each update.

Who's idea was it to do this way? Why not make a multi-persistent so that folks could export/import. I don't understand the logic tbh... how can this be Season 2 if we haven't even finished writing and developing Season 1? I really wish y'all would have reached out to me like previous updates. I could have helped sort this out to make it easier on folks... but the cat's out of the bag now I reckon.

- Changed the way the game distributes points
- Changed the way the game manages audio
- Changed the way the mini-chat on the cellphone works
- Changed the colors and internal dimensions of the mini-chat on the cellphone
- Changed the appearance and programming of the tooltip
- Changed the way the player knows if a character speaks, thinks or shouts
- Modified the savescreen
BUG FIXES:
- Fixed a bug where data would not save after closing the game
- Corrected some typos detected during testing
- Corrected some calls that did not display scenes with excessive brightness correctly
- Updated the chroma code

Hmmm....with this newest release, is it suggested to maybe start a new game, to accommodate the code restructure? Just curious, as I'm just trying to avoid any potential game bugs, loading my old saves.

Can't use your old saves. You are forced into a new save cause it's a whole new game essentially with you answering the choices you did for "season 1" at the start.

So, the game's getting there, I'm like 95% done (rendering)!
I had to delay it a bit, but it's all good now. Originally, I was gonna release an update with around 300 images and no animations, but I ran into a problem with the 3D assets. They got lost/corrupted on the hard disk, and I had to start over.
But I figured, if I'm starting over, I might as well just do the whole chapter. That's why it took a bit longer, but now it's all set with 700+ images and 9 animations!
Plus, with the new Update, there will be a new client. You will have the old client for version 0.1 -0.4 and the new client will have 0.5 and so on. In the new client, you will have to choose your name again and also choose which decisions you made in the previous chapters (only key events, though). This is due to me messing around with some variables of the coding… I’m sorry :3
