Something I hate is when an mc has sex with his sister but then gets squemish about having sex with his mother or daughter and has to go through all the same, "do they like me like that" and "am I really ok with doing this" you already crossed the like but get all angesty about every tiny thing you do with yourself. It drive me nuts and just waste time and even worse, renders.
Can I play on JoiPlay? Is that I extract the files and they are not in a folder, and I don't know if that affects or not because if I put them in a folder the game does not load in JoiPlay. Any Solution?

I liked the start of the game but Idk, at this point it feels like half of the game are just memories/flashbacks. Imo i didnt have much fun since story time with Nanami.
Also that the game takes place in Japan seems kinda weird since besides Nanami, no character or even the locations are asian. Didnt even look like it in the past while MC was with his ex and i highly doubt that he she vanished in the west and he is looking in asia for her.
If i missed some explanation for the (weird) design decision, i appreciate the clarification.

Upscale park is really well maintained for the next 0.05 version.
Just to inform you that the next episode will be called "A breath of fresh air". With the previous episode, I finished the initial arc where I established where and how each character is linked to the MC's life (past and present). In this new arc, we will focus more on relationships and less on the MC's troubled past.
Attached are some current renders (without correction or post-production) of the upcoming episode. Also, note that there is a change of textures and lighting compared to my 0.01 version. This is because, having a better PC, I can take advantage of this resource to show my game as I really wanted. Proof of this is in the new main menu background.
Without anything else to report, I thank all of you who supported me (past and present).

This Japan thing rubbing people the wrong way I find a bit over the top given how unoriginal or plain bad many settings in the competing games are. The incredible amount of time spent in the past being a bit boring or annoying is something I can definitely concur with.. feels like you're stuck in place.

What gave it away? The fact the production stated right off the bat it was Japanese,
maybe the names of the producers? Japan does not have to be old broken streets or
80”s ghetto setting to be ”on point”, any production can and should strive for Tokio
Drift kind a settings, posh ladies, high octane action, which MC is delivering: we are still in his head during his near death experience and coming outta getting shot.
A lotta copper series or movies bank on undercover or plain clothes coppers infiltrating
the criminal element, which this game shows in a dolled up way and is wonderful.
Heck, even Sherlock Holmes old stories feature the detective donning plain/drab attire to blend in.
The local panash of this being in Japan is the gutwrenching devotion to classes and the
inevitability of being born in this or that caste = Mc is back in his craddle,
he is gasping for air in there, the memories are wrapped around him like a shrouded
sarcophagus pulling him back into nothingness, into being a hatred driven drunk
like his pa and abusing the ladies.
Will you stick around to see MC make it outta his date with painful memories, one after the other?
Thx for that but it still feels kinda forced and out of place. The whole flashback with with whores in the traditional looking house and then randomly putting japanese phrases/words into the text is just weird. The world building just isint fitting the house and the characters within, even if it seems that the father is some kind of crime lord.
But i will still play it to see if it gets "better".

because should that be present day, it means MC literally lost his beau to the criminal element, this being Japan, it is hella harder for girls to step out of the word of their ma, you saw those offices, you saw those conditions she had as a kid, if she got sold into
”service” to some madam or is into service for her ma, yes, there are mothers who use their own girls for ”escort work”, the whole setup we saw when they were kids could be a front for upscale escorts who go with gangsters inside their lairs,

Even if already travelled, the road of a cop gone rogue to save his beloved outta the belly of the triads or the yakuza or whatever local gang got their teeth in her, it is still endearing and interesting to game. Action scenes are a given in such a setting.

well, i understand your point, you are not the first one to bring that up, but do note, it was explained before
not everyone accepted explanation, but still
There is not that many good modern japanese assets for Daz
mostly fantasy, sci-fi, some cultural elements, and european-american.
so most scenes are made with "dirt, sticks and stones", so to say
And to write a better story, Yukana chose setting that is closer to them and more known, hence, Japan
And and, concerning characters, i just leave for actual japanese to write a story about characters, that live in Japan

FYI: There's a bug with a choice regarding Ayame. I'll PM the dev to let them know about the details. I'll have it sorted in the mod regardless but the choice "Be nice / Be harsh" does NOT work as intended (there's no way it can).
Edit: Basically if the player chooses "Be harsh" the dialogue for that route does not trigger properly during portions of the chapter (now referenced as episodes). Most of the dialogue checks to see if the player chose "Be nice" but not all of it, some of it checks to see if "Be harsh" was chosen. I've sent a message to Qori to let him know.
