After comparing the files from v0.18.1 against v0.18.2, there are no update necessary to the mod. If the version number warning bothers you, I've included an "upgrade" patch to add on top of the v0.18.1 mod.

You have a garden area, but also a back garden. Click on the fence door/gate at the back of that screenshot to access it. First time you access it, the MC walks around thinking you could do something about this area. After that, go to Ellen at the front desk, select upgrades and "Develop land" (if I remember the phrasing correctly without looking).
There are several steps to upgrade, each upgrade takes 5 in-game days on average to complete, and you have to revisit the back garden area after each upgrade is completed to fully finish that particular upgrade.

I am sorry if this is a repeat question, but I followed all the instructions as per usual, but the mod doesn't seem to be active at all. It plays as if there is no mod installed. Any idea where I screwed up?

unzipping to the main folder doesn't prompt an overwrite and isn't working. Mod folder is in the Game folder
My guess would be you didn't install it correctly...
EDIT: Actually, I decided to try downloading it from one of the other mirrors. The version attached to the post (the first one I downloaded) is 39KB. The one from Mega is 144.3MB but is labeled 18.1. Those numbers don't add up.

Unzip Mod and place ALL files in game folder, it should work almost immediately.

The file attached to (my) updated mod post is only a patch to bring the mod from v0.18.1 to v0.18.2. You still need to also install the v0.18.1 mod before installing that patch.

Yeah that's the problem I had, and I think others. It would be nice if the main file was just updated.

Certainly doesn't help that when you click the link from the main game page for the mod, it takes you to JG's post, so many people likely think it's all they actually need. Maybe update the post to include "Make sure to get the main mod file from page 1 first" or something.
Edit Numero Deux: I figured out my error. Needed the 18.1 mod file, then the 18.2 update.

Hello, could someone tell me how to disable the mod please? I needed mostly one clue on how to progress with Jin, but now that I found out, I realised that part of the UI, the text and staff like that are a bit different than the original version.
