I'm stuck in the same spot and it's been like that for 2 or 3 in-game weeks. I've tried every interaction option as well but it just doesn't trigger. This is the save I've been playing since the first release of this game and it's the first time I've not been able to trigger an event.

If you played a specific version of a beta during v0.10, maybe v0.9, then your save is broken. This is why I try to keep betas limited.

I couldnt find the .py file you mentioned. I went for main folder/lib/windows i686/Harem_Hotel.exe because that was the only file I could find with a name closest to yours. It's still giving the same error. I have installed the renpy plugin beforehand
Well, then petition the uploader/OP to update it, don't blame Lain, it's not her fault people can't use the search.

1) I could be wrong, but I think you met Sophia (maybe) when you first met Mr. Cornwall.
2) Jin doesn't have any new content. You will only see her in the dungeon, Violet's room, eating something with Violet, or in Lin's room on Wednesdays.
I am not saying it is your fault, but if you care about it, you can report it to the people who can fix it, not bitch about the person doing all the work.
