According to what I heard, the bigger update just got a job in Texas and moved there. Update's kids are currently living with their grandma from their mother's side in Texas, while Update and it's wife are in New York for their divorce trial. After the divorce, Update will continue to live in New York, while it's wife and kids will move to Texas to live with the bigger update....bigger update, you say? That's terrible. Where is this bigger update so we know how to avoid it?
Remake? Hard to say, probably not too many, he has been working on that for a while now.
hopefully soon. my save broke in between a certain kate event and i can't 'ignore' the error. loading previous save also doesn't help as the event is automatically triggered.

Hopefully you have a backup if that's a beta error -- there's no guarantee moving from beta->final will resolve the problem.
In fact, according to what I heard from Runey, that will not fix the issue, that is why he was telling people not to play it unless you know what you are doing.

also as to the whole beta save issue... people can also do what I plan to do, delete the entire folder ( C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Harem Hotel-1520575859 ) and... oh wow... I have played a lot of renpy games...

I don't know why A11-Y decided to put the "ghosts and monsters" part in the lirics, but I think that it was because, as we all know, A11-Y is afraid of scary things and ghosts and monsters, so, maybe, A11-Y was thinking that if they will say that the betas are full of scary things and ghosts and monsters, people will be too afraid to play betas.

You don't really need one, as a rule of thumb, on the Day XYZ screen, in the bottom corner, there is heads of each main LI, if it's not greyed out, you can trigger their next event (unless its locked by another characters progression)
in 95% of cases, checking their room or general location of where they hang out, will start next event usually via "talk" when clicking on their door (or tell you where/what to do)
So, just go and enjoy the game, advance when you want.
