How do you save over your completed save, there is like a 1000 save slots.

That's only 10 pages, there are an unlimited number of pages, so the only limit is the free space on your C:\.

From a logical standpoint I agree. Probably the best move as of right now. From an emotional standpoint however I'd rather marry Ashley.

So I'm having to restart since I saved over my completed file... At the moment I'm trying to build the Android's exhibition stat (before completing the story event with her in the hot springs, I think it's event 18 or 19) but going to the cafe doesn't give me the option to do anything. Please help lol

What exactly do you mean ? Did you get no options or not the options you want ?

Oh has Lain updated the mod? I was considering actually downloading it to see the custom scenes but at same time hesitating as well (a) don't need a walkthrough mod and (b) using it likely means I wont be able to use updates on the game until said mod is updated in itself.

Still great to see shes back on track with things (know shes super busy) and seems most of the users of the game use the mod so should be great news all round.

So I'm replaying and I couldn't for the life of me remember what I'm doing different as this time around I seem to have difficulty in building up friendship points with Lin.
Last time around I was racking them up without even thinking about it .... probably why I don't Remy what I'm doing different.
Have to admit though, this time around, Ashley's behaviour (until you get to her dealing with her issues) is rather grating

Friendship points are gained by completing her story, you can't 'grind' them.

It's actually pretty easy - you move around the hotel and you talk to the girls. That's it; there's a handful of day dependencies but these are relatively few and running through the various events/conversations with the girls too quickly means that you'll miss little extra scenes if you haven't taken you time to increase key stats.

I know many people like mods because they're afraid of missing things, but the only way that someone can miss things is by hard-charging through the game and not exploring a little.

I would doubt that'd happen if for no other reason than this isn't the only game Lain does mods for; however, I seem to remember her mentioning some time back that she will sometimes work with the various game devs when she does the mods, but that may not be a common thing.
