But she isn't a runaway, no one is hunting her, no one has any reason to look for her, as far as anyone can tell, she is just another human walking down the road with their kinky friend.
I think forcing them to embarrass themselves, is nothing compared to torture.
I wouldn't make it quick, I would show them what it is like to be a slave, teach them some humiliation, and how it feels to be powerless.
In games, like in the real world, I generally try to go for a better future, and education is the usually the best way for that. I mean, sure, there are some games where you don't have a choice, or you do a 'kill all' run, but for my main run, I try to redeem everyone I can.
Not what I'm saying, what I said is that there probably are, which raises demand for people who would hunt them down for return to the owner. These hunters would have to check ID for the person they are hunting.
It's also nothing compared to actual slavery, forcing embarrassment is too light to be equivalent.
I would, but that isn't an option, too many elves to give a chance to avenge themselves for it to be quick.
These two I can't see being educated by anything short of their lives flashing before their eyes, which means going at them intending for them to die even if they manage to survive the encounter. Like I said, that nurse seemed to enjoy what she was doing and that means she would actively resist any attempt to change how she feels about it. Cornwall I can't say for sure, but given his politician career, I would say he would prioritize views that would keep him in office, which directly conflict with the lesson we want them to learn.
If all else fails and they prove entirely incapable of learning this lesson, there's always the original intent, which would then take them out of the picture and nullify any threat they pose whether they survive as nothing but a shell or they don't survive at all. It's killing two birds with one stone, the elves get revenge and the two of them get taken out or learn their lesson.
Also even for the police they need to know how they look like before they can do anything at all. And for half elves with clipped ears they look like anyone other with elven blood in it and thus can't be distinguished from the "normal" folks if they don't wear their collar.
I doubt ever police officer would know about ever half elves in their system. They would only shows the the runaways and dangerous one for normal if they don't do an area sweep.
Yes, face recognition. Sure, it can work, but has a loot of flaws and need a camera. As I didn't see cameras around the only ones that could do that would be the police bots.
Yet they don't care if your half elf is on pet play with a human if this is all right in the eyes of the law.
Also simple solution to this bitchy nurse why on walk with Maria put a gag in her mouth.
And I'm with TheDevian here, as I usual follow a good path in games and not one for revenge or so.
If I'm not wrong, then the only elf we know she've "wrong" is Maria. Also for the official law she've done nothing wrong, but regardless, Maria is the only one we know. So even though for sure she won't be a sage, she could just recently acquired this job and Maria was her first victim...
Exactly, and that means maintaining a record of the person.
I'm not normally one for revenge, either, but this game and one other have me looking at them different than any other game.
That's the thing, there's no way she hasn't done this before, otherwise she wouldn't have enjoyed it so much with Maria. As for the law, that's another issue, they've done nothing wrong by the law, but the law itself is wrong, so they HAVE done something wrong.
Of course, it also depends on how much I like the story. Fallout 4 for example, I went on a killing spree pretty quickly. Never did care enough to finish the main story, figured out all of their little twists before the intro was done.
While that is possible, I am guessing that she has had that job for a while. But this is all based on circumstantial evidence, so like you said, it could go either way. Hard to say for sure.
While her attitude showed that she was in command, she also could have been overcompensating.
Still working on Fallout 4, near the end of the main story, BoS side.
I would say she's definitely had that job for a while.
I got the feeling it was a 'this is how the system works' thing and not necessarily an evil sadistic nurse. We have to remember Maria's been free all her life, I don't see her go 'oh I'm half elf? Oki, what do I do now?'
Kudos to Runey again, I've gone through more emotions in this story than any other game. That nurse pissed me off though.
That's what I thought at first as well, but then I took a second look at the Maria enslavement scene and she definitely isn't just doing her job, she's enjoying it.
I wonder how you performed the conversion? What steps and/or tools you use?
I mean, in Runey's itch.io, I'm told to (1) grab the PC version, and (2) use "Joiplay" app + Ren'Py plugin.
But you made the game into an 'all-in-one' apk ...
The reason I'm asking is because I have some other Ren'Py games that I want to play on my Android phone, so if I can turn them into an apk as well, it would be swell..
They do what is called 'crunching.' This means reducing file sizes as much as possible through changing image file types and codecs and other methods. However, things don't always go as intended with some cases being buggy and rarely buggy enough to be considered unplayable, though I haven't seen one from anyone here get that bad. The bigger the game, the more they have to do and the higher the chance of issues. This, along with not wanting visual quality to drop too far, is why Runey is not offering an Android version anymore, the game just got too big and eventually it will get too big for these methods the unofficial porters are using to make a difference.
