Some people have low appraisal of their own sexual capabilities. The idea that a woman has any idea what she's missing is anathema to them, since obviously given the choice she'd return to the better dick.
That's about as unwarranted a hypothesis as xCrowned's posts are. If that were the issue, he(?)'d be just as bothered by Kali, Maria, Felicity, and Emma, not to mention all the elves but Lin.
If you do a fresh install/extraction, and do not put the mod back, it might. Assuming your save is not broken.
After the new update I started a new playthrough of the game, I'm on Autumn's church event, where she meets the Angel. Are there any theories surrounding the religion of this world? Is Gaius real? Are the Seldarine real? The Angel does appear to Autumn, and it does say the Seldarine are actually comming and try to push her into commiting a genocide. But the "Angel" could be anything really. They even say in this very event: "Any technology too advanced can seem like magic to those who don't understand it." Or it can just be some type of magic as well.
There are some, but they are a little spoilery.
Predominant theory seems to be that it's the fairies that are pretending to be the gods, or to speak for them, and like the bitch queen, they are using them for their 'magic'. How much either side knows about that, is also up in the air. They clearly have some knowledge, but who knows what is still mostly unknown.
I see, it would make sense for it to be fairies guiding the humans in order to exterminate the elves to free them from the queen. Don't know about the Seldarine though. Maybe a red herring to force the hand of the church into action.
If you are not far enough along, there are actually (at least) two 'species' of fairies, but they don't seem to know about each other any more. That, or maybe the males and females look very different.
I'm pretty sure I have played all of 0.17 and don't remember that information, so I guess it is from 0.18? The only contents I finished for 0.18 were Maria and the Twins so far.
Speaking of which. I started playing the game On 0.17, and it was about a year between updates. Is that common? I don't really keep up with patreon announcements and the such, so I got curious on how Runey's release schedule works. If I have to wait 1 year for the conclusion of the twin's event I'm going to go insane. And that is considering this will be resolved in the next update, which could not happen and continue for more than one.
I hope I'm not sounding entitled or anything. This just became one of my favourite games in this website and I love it so much that waiting for it is just sad, whenever I play it I have to distract myself with other stuff in order to push it out of my mind. I also just got curious about what to expect when it comes to release schedules. Since Runey seems to release at least 1 event for each single main girl in each update, I assume his updates would take a while anyway.

all these types of games always take a long time because they have to set every scene and have the program render it. Obsessing over porn games is unhealthy. You should try to find something to do IRL.
No, Runey had a lot of shit happen last year, between a death in the family, immigrating half way around the world, dealing with lawyers, and getting sick, IIRC. Typically, there are 3ish a year.
His supporters have started doing alpha testing, though, keep in mind that his test builds are not feature complete, they test things as he finishes them, one event at a time. We only know of one event in there so far.
Why would he kill the last few braincells he has like that? Everyone knows that when you start to argue with idiots, they will first drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
I'm on vacation right now, and I do other stuff other than play Harem Hotel. It is not about being obsessed with porn games. I am watching Invincible and can't wait for the release of the next episode as well, I am just an impatient guy when it comes to waiting for stuff, incliding regular stuff, even sitting on a hospital waiting room is not the most enjoyable experience for me. And I am invested in the game for its plot and characters, rather than the porn content anyways. It is not like I'm no lifing the game, it has been almost a week since I started the game from scratch and haven't finished it yet, and when I finish it, I will have other stuff to distract me, and college will start again in march. Thanks for your concern, but although I have my quirks, I'm not at that level of mentally unhealthy. I was able to focus on other concerns enough to wait 1 year for the current release after all.

I wonder how the game will handle this, with MC's family going against both a big mafia and the government itself, specially considering how useless Kali's dad has been when ti comes to doing anything to help.
Well, the thing about this game is that the MC is not the one who does most things. It is the girls who are the 'main characters', they are the ones who solve the problems, and so on. Think about it more like Pokemon. The Manager is the trainer, and the girls go out to fight, while he helps and supports them.

Yes, that is why I said MC was just an average guy surrounded by special people. What I was talking about was more how even those special people don't really hold power to fight things like an entire mafia or something, so it makes me curious about how some of those plots are going to be resolved. The government IA thing (forgot her name) will clearly be resolved by Android, and the slavery issue will probably be a convergence of Android, Maria, Lin, and possibily Autumn and maybe Kali? working together, probably through reformation, or even a revolution. However the mafia thing is still up in the air for me. The only one who could do something against an organization like that would be Android, or maybe Emma and Felicity will be able to reason with their father, but who knows. There is also Kali's father, but for someone so powerful, he is mostly just useless when needed. I'm just trying to look ahead anyways, if the experience I had in the game so far is any indication, I'm sure Runey will give great resolutions to all the plots.
Talking about Archon, my money is on A11-y.
Slavery, yeah, will be a big group effort.
It could be kind of easy to stop the gang, with Kali's help, but she is a bit distracted. But I feel like F&E need to deal with that one. Likely through some kind of reasoning/blackmail with their dad. Also, with Ashley's help, since she is involved in that plot too.

Finished all of 0.18 and I quite liked it. It seems that all stories are starting to converge more and more.
I enjoyed all the events, but specially the date with Kate. I know she is a side girl, but still, it was a cute event. I hope the side girls are all there in the ending, I like all of them, even Vanessa, who I saw some people here be mad about because she was too "preachy" lmao. Apparently being anti-slavery is annoying to some.
I hate cliffhangers, but that is a personal taste of mine, so the events for the twins and Lin weren't bad, I just wished they didn't end where they did. Other than that, solid events that pushed the plot forward. Good to see Jia again, I hope we actually get to help her this time, even though she has finally gone full insane from the torture.
The reveal that the fairies are the ones controlling the human religion was nice. It makes me wonder what is their endgame, other than elven extermination, and why do they want to exterminate the elves, since the forest fairies, the ones that are opressed by the Alosi, don't seem to have contact with the ones posing as cherubs, so it doesn't seem to be a fairy liberation thing, specially considering that the genocide won't even affect the Alosi.
It also makes me wonder about Cornwall, how deep he is in on it, considering I remember someone (I think Maria?) saying that he probably wouldn't want a genocide, otherwise he would go out of a job, yet he seems to be playing right into it. He also has a half-elf daughter and cousin, but he still left them out of the rights he gave to elves, so who really knows what is going on through that head of his? But he does have corndog as his email address, and uses it to send pictures of his half-elf daughter, so maybe he is just some stupid idiot being used and manipulated.
I liked how Kali's event showed that her father was just a delusional nepobaby, so thanks for that, Runey.
On another subject, I was playing with Lain's mod on. I know it is not the recommended, but honestly, the game is too big and I started from scratch. The only problem I seemed to have with it, was that a button appeared at the corner of the screen that sent me to downtown exploration mode if I clicked on it, which I assume is a bug from the mod, but as long as I don't click on it, it was ok. My save showed no signs of corruption.
But anyways. I was looking at the girls stats using the mod, and the relationship stat only goes up to 50. Is that planned, or will Runey expand on it? Because if it is planned, it means there are only 3 more events until Lin's story finishes, but at the end of the final event I played, the dev notes said that the game isn't even close to ending. Which by the way, as much as I love this game, I think it has been going on for a long time now, and it would be nice to finally see a conclusion. I don't know how many people agree or disagree with this position, and this is not an attack against Runey, or the game, because in my personal opinion, the quality of the story hasn't gone down at all, but eventually things have to reach a conclusion.
