Another abandoned game. What happened to that other Harry Potter real porn game? The one with the player character from Mother's Best Friend. It looks like it's been scrubbed from the internet.

You mean the one with the creator that almost held players ransom to release updates? "If I don't get x there be no update".. Kinda speak for itself.

Sounds like MBF. lol. I can't even remember the title. It used to be on f95 but it's long gone.

If you mean Harry Potter turned 18 the Dev has his own blog but everything is locked behind a paywall and you need to ask him for passwords for all your saves because he has locks on them it's a shame the Dev went all EA(you can even pay the Dev real life money for in game money last time I checked) I liked the games paths/routes.

Well is not realy abandoned, I actualy made a couple of actualizations. I did not release the last one because I got bored. I made sonting like 10 us with the game that is not enough to make me get more interested neither. In the other hand the game had 21k browser plays only in itch.io... so I dont consider it a waste of time. It was my first game and one of my firts practices with python. May I come back to the project in the future or may I start a new project IDK.

When you start out make these kind of games people won't rush knocking down the door to throw cash at you. It take time to build up a fanbase that inclined to pledge to you. Very few games blow up over night, they grow over time. If money is the primary objective, then get a job flipping burgers, or whatever a better option.

I'm sure all of the people who paid you real money for that update are very pleased to hear this. This is not how good developers act and I don't know how you can expect people to ever support you when you do things like this.

I have little sympathy for you. Almost immediately you tried to overly monetise the game, completely misunderstanding how adult games become successful. It was significantly more important at that stage for you to get the game into as many hands as possible and build a following but instead of that, you put in pointless DRM that was cracked almost immediately and tried to milk more money out of a small amount of people rather than wait for the game to get a bigger audience and work with the community. You tried to make a quick buck rather than a game and you will always fail with that.

I guess "all the people" isn't all that in this case. But imho, once you open yourself up to take pledges and ask for support you become responsible to at least put in some effort before you toss in the towel. Fair, some projects end up doomed and creators end up with no incentive to complete. But that should imply the creator did a honest effort at least before closed shop.

The money from itch.io are not pledges, they are tips and game sales. I dont owe nothing to anyone. Also debuguin is a pain. I did not relice it before and, after all, I am not saing i will not release the new version.

what the heck!, do you even hear yourself?, a grindy game just does not happen out of the blue, you!, made it purposefully, and that Is exhausting in itself, how can you even make a grindy game and and blame it on that it just happens. This weak excuses does not work on me buddy, just be honest and say, yeah I like to make grindy game cause I like to see people work towards nothing, Fashion Business Is a very good example of the point I am making here. And that Is a fact, most games I played you get nothing out of it you just wanna waste people's time playing your shitty game, Well guess what?, i'm not!, and stop wasting my time! and other peoples times. Oh and by the way telling people to stop bitching, just sounds like you don't wanna take the heat and avoid responsibility if it ever where to come down to it. Why do even bother make a game? if you can't handle criticism?, this sounds very pathetic to me lol 0/10

When I have to live a day a hundred times over and over again until somthing changes I would kill myself. What a horror-game. And "finished"? The english translation of the game is poorly because the whole interface is not translated and the "statts-messages" are also not translated. So how should a player know what to do when there is no hint of what to do. Booooring.

Well, i tried the online version for the fun.

1) A lot of grinding
2) Not much content, and almost exclusive to Hermione (such a shame with all the girls in Harry Potter universe)
3) English translation is made with google, even me with my poor english i could do a better job
4) Dialogue are craps and pictures just don't match
5) The game is too much linear : Wake up - > Tell the truth -> Hermione -> Sleep -> Wake up -> Tell the truth ...

If it's HTML i still have some basics so if people is interessed we can try to remake this one...

Edit : I just realised it was made with Renpy but i really think this kind of game would be far better in HTML for obvious reasons.

Overview:
It is around year 2000 in Hogwarts. Our heroes have grown up under the effect of Voldemort's Horcrux corruption... new lines of action and pictures will appear when the requirements are fulfilled.
This is my first game and I did it to practice my programming skills in python, it's free and it's "finished". In other words, it can be considered a complete game. If someone comes and takes it down due to copyright issues, nothing happens the game is "finished". If you liked it and want more suport me on patreon. Yea, bad images... blablabla… now you are advised, so don't bitching if you decide to play it. The game is grindi at first, most games of this kind are.
