How is the development going?

i just finished a Halloween Special Mini Game for my Patreons. I still have to add the animations but otherwise it's done. I'll be releasing that in the next few days. Hopefully. Depends on if I can afford to get my Video Tool Subscription paid this month or not.
As far as the main game, I'm still remastering the old stuff. I've got two major scenes left, changing some basic code definitions to include the new images, then I have to resize or remake a lot of the GUI elements. After that, add some Animations and the Remaster will be ready to release.
Once that's out, I'll finally be working on NEW content.

It's been a rough 6 months. 4 of those without my PC and 2 of them Remastering the old stuff but, I'm happy with the outcome. My process for renders takes probably 5-10 times longer than other developers takes per image. Since I do so much photoshop and AI post work to each image. So it feels like I'm moving slow, but I'm still putting in 15-18 hour days every day.

In the nicest way possible and without any hate -It seemed promising at the start as some of the other projects, however, lots of talking and no real content updates. Changing initial/old demo content and dropping a few screenshoots seems like a new meta to create some visibility to forecast that something is going on but thats basically it, (usually fallowed by the post of sorry peeps something came up with real life and now I have to take another few month break, before dropping another screenshoot and then disapearing for good)
Just checking if there is actually new content available, already postponed the idea to support on any other platforms and just poping time to time to see if it's time to click that unwatch button and move on.

Not ONCE, have I said I was taking a break. lol.
I took a week to create a Halloween Game for Halloween. I'll do the same for Christmas.
Nor do I disappear for a month at a time. I put an update out on Patreon EVERY day, and an image from the work I've done, at least once a week.
I work on it 15 hours a day. My PC was broken for 5 months. That's why I had nothing to show for 5 months. If you want to unfollow, feel free. I'm not rushing work for people when I don't make jack shit for money. lol. I'm doing this for me. I'm in no rush. I have no publisher. The $60 I make a month isn't going to make me jump up and start releasing content before it's ready.

When the REMASTERED release is ready. I will drop it. Should be in a few weeks, but there's always something that I forget, which makes it take longer. I'm remastering my first 5 releases, and that takes a while. Releases AFTER that, will be once or twice a month. But remastering 5 releases in 3 months, takes a little while and isn't easy.

Someone complained on F95Zone that I hadn't released anything in like 6 months so I wanted to say a couple things here...

1. My PC was broken for 4 months and nothing got done.

2. I replaced some characters in my game with higher quality ones, so I had to remake all the images in the already released game. To make this "Remastered" content, I have to remake 5 releases worth of content. What took me 4 months before I'm trying to get done in 3 months.

3. I have 5 kids and I work on this game from the time I wake up till the time I go to sleep. I barely make enough money to pay for the 3 monthly subscriptions I use in making this game.

4. I try to give you guys updates every day on Patreon, so you know that I haven't given up or slowed down. Beyond that, and releasing images, there's nothing more I can do to show people it's still being worked on.

5. It takes a LONG time, in fact probably 5-10 times longer to make my images than it does for a typical AVN dev to make their images. I do a lot of cloth sims, environment work, multiple character posing and that's just in Daz. Then I take it into AI workflow, and then Photoshop. Setting up a single render, can take 20 minutes to an hour. Rendering it takes 5-10 minutes. Post Production Workflow takes 10-20 minutes. That's per render. It's a process.

I know most of you here already know this but I wanted to put it out there for the free subscribers, so everyone understands the process, and why things take the amount of time they do.
I could just render out scenes out of Daz and upload them, but they wouldn't look real. They wouldn't look good, and I'd just be making another AVN like all the rest in a sea of AVN's... My goal here is to make something unique.

Hi Nuverotic

I would not worry too much what other people say - let's face it: there are always people who are unhappy with 'this and that'.

The most important thing is to concentrate on your health and wellbeing and not get 'burn-down developing the game'.

Consider this project as a 'fun thing' and not something that you 'must do'.

Your fans love your game and if we have to wait a little bit more (because of your PC issues, etc) - it is not a big deal for us: we will wait. :)

Luckily the PC has been fixed for almost 2 months now. And I'm nearing the end of remastering the old content into the new images and updated code.

Then I'll be VERY excited to bring the NEW content finally. :)

What RPG tag? None of my games are RPG's.

Oh I see it. I didn't add that. Admin must have when they removed the AICG tag. I've fixed it.

Also, for the record, those image previews are from the game PRIOR to the Remastered version coming out next month. I've upgraded every aspect of the game and have been working on that for the past few months. You can see in my signature the NEW images for Harvesting Corruption.

Nuverotic I think this game as a lot of potential and I really like the renders. I have some feedback though:

1. The initial intro cutscene has no subtitles, which could be very confusing for someone who doesn't play without sound.
2. Some hints about where you can/should go would be nice.
3. Towards the end of the current release (the masturbation scene), the game got very confused about its state (in sandbox mode). It was forcing me back into the cabin to change into a specific set of clothes and then would show an image sequence for a different set of clothes and then would show the clothing selection menu again, etc.

Hi Nuverotic !
I discovered this game playing (or looking) Trick or Tease, which I found very well made and fun for a short kinetic novel. I was amazed to discover the quality of the Harvesting Corruption trailer, but disappointed to see that it was remastering and in stand-by.
But I think it's worth waiting, and I would want to thank you to spend your free time to make us enjoy with this stuff.
Impatient to download the next version !

It had a lot of bugs... My computer broke right before I updated them.
Then I replaced all of the characters except Annika. So for the past two months I've been Remastering all of the old content. Upon next release, those issues will be fixed (They already were in the update before Remaster), and you'll have a Journal that tells you what to do. If you look at my signature below here, you'll see some of the remastered images.

Trust me, when you play the Remaster, you'll be VERY happy I did it.

The original was my first ever game. First time with Daz. First time everything. I learned a LOT over the 4 months I spent making that. And when I decided to remaster it, I got to fix all those old issues that drove me crazy.

First of all, you will get to choose to play as Annika OR Carter... Both have a unique storyline and approach to romancing characters.
All of the images, lighting, characters and dialogue has had a MASSIVE upgrade.
You will now get to work a job that has it's own story arch.
And much much more. You'll all be happy. Trust me.

Also, NEVER trust my timelines for releases. I'm always late. I think I'll be done way faster than I ever am. But other than that, you can trust me. I work on my games 15-18 hours EVERY day of the week.

Lots of REALLY cool stuff coming. Harvesting Corruption is going to be a MASSIVE game. Almost like an Immersive Sim in Visual Novel form. :)

I'll have to look into subtitles for video. I'm not sure how that would work. But it's in my list of things to do later down the line. Right now, my goal is getting the Remastered Old Content back out within the month. And then getting you guys all the day two content and work content, which basically opens up all the locations, mechanics and that sort of stuff.
