There's wiggle room, but keeping the vision keeps the scope in check, it keeps the games baseline in check, and it makes sure everything is consistent throughout. Of course players would rather have it their way, and authors know this, but again, it has to have a vision or it'll be a mess.

lol, for sure. I haven't been asked to rename the MC yet but she's a female, so I think it's a little different. If she was a male I would bet money they'd ask to be able to rename him. Though I would already have had that option.
If I could suggest a pregnancy package, it would be Marlene Maternity. Out of those I've tested out, this one is by far the best and most robust. Poses look better, the belly ridge is not that horrible and it covers the entire belly development (trimesters), so its not just nineth month at 100 % and weird belly at any other value.

Miracle of Life isnt bad, but its only the last month and the value is mostly in the poses. I guess you can dial it down for the 8th month (I am not sure how far the character is, but her belly should grow over the two months) if you want a bit more realism, bud Marlene does a much better job at this.
And yes, I have spent unreasonable amount of time researching and testing Genesis 3 and 8 pregnancy
