LOL Bro this is the most butthurt and thin skinned crowd you will ever see. You are right about that. For anyone who is still confused at how game dev works and came here to complain about this or that, let me save us both some time...
This is the second release. I am JUST over one month of working on this game, past the initial couple months of writing the story. The game is going to have bugs and it's not going to have all the content yet. This is literally how game development works and we are on 0.03 of the games release.
Also, I am not a team, I am ONE dev. Making my first game.
Sure, I could have made the whole game, over a year or two, making ZERO dollars in the process, hoping I made 2 years worth of money back when I was done while I funded it on my own... And released a working, finished game... That I then give away for free?
Or I could release the demo of my game, and allow a community of people who see the potential to be created. Get feedback during the process so I don't hardcode something that sucks. And make a tiny, smidgen of money in the process, to help feed myself and my kids while I devote ALL my free time to this...
All of you coming here and playing a v0.03 of a game and complaining about a lack of content, bugs, or my artistic direction, blow my mind. I'm giving you my work... For free. Asking nothing in return. And for the most part I understand 99% of you have no idea how game dev works, so I ignore the comments... But man... For the sake of my sanity, and all the other developers you do this shit to, you guys need to learn.
Until VERSION 1.0 of a game releases, you "report" bugs. Not complain about them. You "ask" about the content, not complain it's missing it. And if you don't like something I've chosen to do in my game, you get over it or go make your own game. Also lastly, if you don't like me telling you this, tough titty. This is the way it is. Myself and every other dev of every other game on here read these comments and think the exact same thing.
I mean sure, you can keep complaining. I'm not your mother. But no one is going to take you seriously. And you're just making the devs dislike you. Stop acting self-entitled... We don't owe you anything.
For the rest of you. Thank you for playing the game. Thank you for sticking around through the process. And I hope you all love the product as it grows.
And now I'm not even going to give your game the time of day. Then go make your own game. Go read the first post on page one and quit complaining. The amount of leeches telling developers how to make their games is wild. Let me guess, you "WOULD HAVE" supported it, but now you won't? lol.
Thank you! The renders actually get better as you progress. I had three different workflows that kept improving as I went along. When you get to the dinner scene, that's my current workflow. These characters and renders are gorgeous.
Did you play the latest release dude? It's been recoded from the ground up. It's not a mess. And again, it's short because it's the third release. This is why i told you that this game has a potential for a good success, if you manage to survive that long, from all the comments and people supporting you or not.
Cuz right now it looks like a mess and its very short but i see where its going and what you doing, its a slow process but is it worth, idk.
I think the graphics are great, the story is confusing and there's nothing to do so i cant speak about the game-play much, the UI could be refined. and the dev needs to realize this is an opinions form to rate the game. It's not here to help you per say, I also think the dev needs to realize that game design is about understanding their audience even when said audience doesn't know anything or make anything clear. The change log looks well structured and with apparently good and refined feedback i think this will turn into an artistic masterpiece maybe even a good game. i haven't played the latest version.
Then don't play it. It's v0.05. Look at the change log and tell me there's no content. You wanna make a shitty game that works like a book and just has story with images and not put any work into the code, go for it. But that's not what I'm doing. Code takes time. Don't like it. Make your own.
There's no extra content, I just said something obvious. I don't understand why you have to be so rude. Then don't play it. It's v0.05. Look at the change log and tell me there's no content. You missed licking the ball on the left, I think. Finally a dev that doesn't take shit.I wish more were like that.
I played update before this one, i'll see whats up.Did you play the latest release dude? It's been recoded from the ground up. It's not a mess. And again, it's short because it's the third release.
You just put yourself in that group I was talking about for all to see.You missed licking the ball on the left, I think.
You didn't say something obvious, you said something incorrect. Read the changelog and tell me there's no extra content. Just because there's only a few new story scenes, doesn't mean there's not a shit load of content that has been added in the code and way everything works. There's no extra content, I just said something obvious. I don't understand why you have to be so rude.
On the other hand, I do what I want. You don't have to dictate what I should do. If I want it, I'll play it, and if not, I won't. If I want it, I'll make a game, or if I want it, I won't.
I'm not looking for games that give me the ability to click precisely here; I'm looking for stories to be told here. Just in case you're curious, what I want from games is, and I must say that most people who come here are looking for the same thing.
I can tell you that your game has some good points: a promising start to the story. There's no story yet, it's just a prologue with zero development. It could be a great start. The characters (the art, the renders) are good, especially the main one.
But on the other hand, there's not much more to it than that, and I was hoping for something more for the second update. That's why, let's say, this was my complaint in my first post.
You are probably a good person as you advertise yourself, but you need to mature, or you need to control your anger.
I played update before this one, i'll see whats up.
I'd hope you added only meaningful stuff or interactable ones, not some random stuff scattered everywhere that you cant interact or dont know what to do with. Like a lot of "in progress" stuff lol
I mean as long as its beautifully organised, shouldnt be an issue of wondering what to do and where to go
Thank you thank you! I'm glad you like her. I do as well. But even more importantly, if you like the character, you're going to LOVE the story and how it plays out. Absolutely trust me. I've never seen anything like it done before. You'll have a great time. I'm hoping it's so good people don't skip any of it. I'm putting a lot of time into making sure that's the case.I'm not going to rate it yet because it would be unfair to a game that's still in its early stages, I don't even know how the story will unfold so I'm just going to talk about what caught my attention in what I've seen so far, which was the protagonist who is beautiful, one of the most beautiful I've ever seen, plus her model seems to be original which makes it even better.
Yea it's all Python. Which I just started learning 3 months ago. lol. But I've put in about 1,200 hours into coding since then.Alright bro, i respect that, the hard work.
Which coding language you use, python maybe?
Yeah thats pretty decent ammount.Yea it's all Python. Which I just started learning 3 months ago. lol. But I've put in about 1,200 hours into coding since then.![]()
