Yes, the story, the character archs, all that stuff is the exact same.
The only difference is most of the characters got better models, the dialogue and narration were just improved, and added to, and the lighting and shot composition were improved. That's it.
The story version of the Remaster is already up on my Patreon for free. It doesn't have the sandbox stuff yet, but the whole story is done and I released a version of that.

That's what I get for naming all my Ambient Music unique names.
They'll be fine for now. All the music is temp until I get the Sandbox working anyway.

And nah, beyond being spineless to advertise your Patreon whilst using someone else's property, it could land you in legal shit. Very small chance but they even went after modders on multiple occasions. This isn't 'the music playing in a YT let's play' kinda deal. Swap it to royalty free temp stuff. Not that hard.

I appreciate you pointing out the track, genuinely, thanks for the heads-up on that. It's a fair catch, and as I told you, I swap it out immediately for something royalty-free, as I always do for the final audio pass. It slipped in accidentally during a quick temp build for my Patreon backers because like I said, I have 10's of thousands of audio tracks, some tagged, some not, and yeah, that's on me for not double-checking where it came from. But it's a temp track. Not a public release.
That said, let's keep this civil. Your tone's coming off a bit like the forum's self-righteous, self-appointed music police, and it's unnecessary. I'm not here to debate ethics or hypotheticals about Rockstar's lawyers (who, for the record, haven't sent me a cease-and-desist over a private beta track). I'm building a game, testing it with supporters, and iterating fast. Patreon isn't "spineless". It's how indie devs like me keep the lights on without going bankrupt on vaporware. And I make LITERALLY next to nothing. If you think that's milking someone else's IP, cool opinion, but it doesn't make you the authority on my workflow or finances. Take the virtue signaling to someone who cares. Telling me to stop my Patreon, because ONE song slipped in, to a project that has had a thousand hours of work put into it, including CUSTOM music I made myself, is asinine.
If you've got constructive feedback on the game itself, I'm all ears. Hit me. Otherwise, maybe log off the keyboard warrior gig and touch some grass. We good?

I did not say Patreon is spineless. It obviously is a great platform. I said, advertising it whilst your game includes someone else's intellectual property, in whatever state, is.

Fair enough. And I'll retract my statements about you being a keyboard warrior.
In the end, shit happens. I have a LOT of files that I'm moving around with each release. In fact, I'm working on two games at once right now since I'm doing a Christmas Special. So there's a LOT of room for error. I have 4 external hard drives, 10's of thousands of songs, and I just don't always know which came from where. When I do a final audio pass, that's when I go get custom music specific for the game.

I was basically done with the game 4 days ago. Except for the sex scene. But ALL my AI tools don't work when they detect NSFW images, so I have to manually work in Photoshop to edit images that are NSFW or have nudity. Which just means they take like 10 times longer each image. Plus the NSFW video generation takes forever...
Needless to say, I'm finally getting the last 30 or 50 images/video's done. I do about 30 a day when they aren't NSFW so, I should be done in 2-3 days tops. For once, I finally guesstimated correctly when I said this would take me 2 weeks.
Anyway, last thing I'll say is, "THIS GAME IS NOT FOR EVERYONE"... It's VERY taboo. So, it just might not be your cup of tea.

Definitely a rare gem here! FMC can choose good looking men or women have an actual job and there's no cheating that many Devs are forcing which is perfect for me as a female players, I can't wait for more.

I have a surprising amount of female players that like Harvesting Corruption. I would NEVER have guessed. Judging from my Patreon, it's atleast 10%.
They're quiet though, and typically don't out themselves as females publicly. Which is understandable.
Just saw this game but I see it's getting a "remaster" - is there an eta on when that's done? Last few games I saw going through that ended up stuck/abandoned.

I actually already released the STORY part of the remaster. All the content minus the sandbox stuff. But I had a copyrighted song in there so I've pulled it down for now. I'll be fixing it over the holidays and getting it back up. But with the Sandbox working. I'm just stuck on a bug that was breaking everything, and I worked on the Holiday game for the past two weeks.
ETA for the Remaster, probably mid January.
Every two weeks to one month, a new content release after that. I work 18 hours a day or more on my games, so there is no "stuck or limbo" for my games ever. I'm here to stay. Except for over the summer, my computer was broken for 6 months so nothing got accomplished.

What exactly is getting remastered?
This is one of the only games I have ever seen getting a 3,5/5 with no sex in it.

Well this was my first ever game, and first experience using Daz... So when my computer broke this summer, I had time to look over it and I wasn't happy with the character models... So I remade the character models, which meant I had to reshoot all the scenes... So that's what I did. All that is done now. But the mechanics to the game, are EXTREMELY complex... There's a lot of code running behind the game that just hasn't been utilized in the releases yet, but it's there. Outfit management, Multiple MC's, branching endings, day night cycles, object interactions like old Point and Click games "Inspect, PickUp, Interact", There are 5 randomized dialogue lines PER interaction, so each time you click something you get a new piece of dialogue... And the list goes on...
TLDR: I remastered the characters and all the scenes. Added tons of props to the cabins that were basically empty. Just gave the game more life overall. Gave character expressions more subtly and nuance.... Here's two examples...
