AFAIK there's no sexual content at all (even with mods) unless nudity falls under that category. Hopefully Haydee 2 will put the hypnotic jiggle physics to use with some real adult content, so it's not just another death simulator...
So I just figured out how to make it work, since I had the same problem you did with Haydee. You should first delete the old file and reinstall it, so you don't have the random openal32 that you downloaded. Then go to _CommonRedist inside Haydee 1.09.11. Then open the file OpenAL, and then the file 2.0.7.0, and then click/install oalinst. This should allow you to play game using the "launcher" (at the beginning of the Haydee 1.09.11 folder) after the "oalinst" is installed. I hope this helps.
Game doesn't start. I had to download Openal32.dll and then it says something about checking int logs. idk. also there's no "Haydee" option to click on. only Edith and launcher.

I've never attempted to run Steam games from here like this before so idk what to do.
This is either a lie or a mistranslation. This game will try to kill you. And I mean you, the player.
It's a titanic slog of trial and error with colossal stakes and yet somehow little to no payoff.
I would recommend this game to a masochist or someone I really don't like.

While it is true that it will kill you (a lot), it is doing what it should do. When I saw it tagged as a 3d shotter, I guessed some mod was trying to troll the people. It may be tagged like that in Steam too, but it is NOT. If you try to even think of it like that, it will look like an exercice of how to frustrate a player.
What it IS, is a the lovechild of the first generation of Tomb Raider games and Resident Evil (the first). With a good dose of MetroidVania spice, and cooked like a good Darksouls: Prepare Your Anus™ edition.
In other words: It is a room based 3D worldsurvival horror. With:
few jumpscares, thankfully,
limited resources, in type and ammount,
VERY few chances for saving, not only due to save station placement, but because like in RE, it does consume a resource (floppies),
puzzles to be resolved, using levers, keys, and extra skills granted by equipment, needed to progress,
lots of backtracking to fetch them... and no map ,
a difficulty level that starts in "hard", and ends in "nearly impossible".
It belong to the 90's, in gameplay and difficulty, except larger, and with beautiful full HD graphics, models and animations. It looks like a very faithful HD version of a game of that age, like someone had taken a first generation Tomb Raider game, and replaced the characters and enemies with models and animations of the last generation, and replaced the map textures with UHD images with tons of shaders, but still can easily recognice the cubes that compose the scenario. While keeping handling, IA, and difficulty utterly intact. If you are used to modern, easy FPS, with easy progression and tons of hidden cheats to help the player advance, well, this is definitivivlly not it. It will feel REALLY WEIRD, but not bad. You need to change your perspective.
Still difficult as fuck, though.

And impressive, a number of bugs and performance issues aside. Which it does have. And quite a few. Once you make it run, it will run quite well, until you start fidding with mods. It is, after all, a 32 bit game that would run fine in WinXP (engine-wise). That's not so true in modern Windows OS (8, X) due to different reasons:
It uses OpenGL 3.3 and OpenAL. Not Direct X. That meant to make it portable, from Windows to Linux and OSX. Or allow to compile it easily for 64 bits OS. Or work in old versions of Windows (XP, Vista) without issue. And linux should work with 2/3 of the cpu power needed for Windows. Except:
There is no 64 bit version.
There is no Linux version.
There is no OSX version.
OpenGL and OpenAL drivers are not installed by default in Windows, so it will NOT work out of the box. You need to install updated graphical drivers... and sound drivers... and chipset drivers... and librarires and runtimes. By yourself, because each version of Windows Update is worse than the previous one.
It uses graphics and messes so good (and therefore big), that requires a ton of RAM.
Therefore it will not run well/at all in older OS, or in 32 bit versions of modern OS, because of RAM limitations. Not that you don't have enough, but that processes can't usually use more that 2GB without fiddling dangerously with the OS.
It will load all mods installed into usable RAM (2-3GB), even if not active. That means that installing a few of skins may be enough to make the game run out of RAM.
In contrast, non-graphical resources take very little. So you could add a ton of maps or weapon mods with no problem... except that there are not that many good maps. There are not that many maps, full-stop. There a handful, though, that are VERY good, and being way shorter than the original game, far more accesible.
Because it is a hardware intensive 32 bit game running in a 64 bit enviroments, it can develop all kind of small issues that will degrade or even break the game: mainly small timing issues that will make the framerate drop a lot, or cause stutters, bur it can be bad enough that it can break the physics of the game and render it unplayable. It could depend of the hardware used, the OS version, the drivers version, and other software.
As a 90's style game, it's made to be controlled with keyboard and mouse. A pad can be exasperating, specially shotting.
It is very moddable, due to all assets, animations, maps and gameplay constants being changeable. But it is poorly used:
The main use given is replacing the model of the main character robot body. Since said model is reused in other map elements and corpses, it does mean that when you change it, said elements also change. The model could have been loading twice, one to use for the avatar and other for the map/corpses, but that would have made the game run out of RAM sooner, so it was discarded. That makes it near impossible to make a total conversion mod or something.
Even when you change the model, you do not change the animations. That means that changing the thicc robot lady skin for a short young teenager female dressed in frills, or a giant male mountain of muscle on the nude with his dick waving in the wind, the would all move equally, like they were wearing pumps. The animations can be modded, but it is another mod.
Same with weapons and enemies. At best you can find skin changes, or stat changes, like changing the special gun for a revolver, or allow normal bullets to oneshot enemies. Best one ever. But because all weapons are single handed ones, you would never be able to carry rifles properly.
No one has been able to mod a melee attack, and maybe the engine does not support it at all. But if it could, it would NOT be a trivial mod.
It does have very few different entities/resources. You can replace the graphics of the walls from metal to wood, or brick, or whatever, but you can't make maps combining both types of walls, whitout modding the engine itself.
IMHO, you can combine mods, but if one mod requires other, it may fail to work because loading order it is not considered. That makes expanding the game very hard. If not, someone would have created several sized animation skeletons, or a melee attack, as a base mod, and then the skins would load the most apropiate animation set, or replace the punch with a sword swing if the character carries a blade or something.
Many of these seems changes that will appear in Haydee 2, but have been mised in the original Haydee. I hope someone, or the author itself, ports Haydee 1 to the Haydee 2 engine, or make a full conversion mod that runs the Haydee 1 game as a Haydee 2 mod. If mod chaining and loading order is implemented then, Haydee could become a true porn game, replacing death animations for defeat/rape, for example.
All I got to say about Haydee 2 is that the devs know their playerbase.
Also there is nudity in this game (so no mods needed, yet) so just wait until an uploader get to it and you will see what I mean.
