... Are we still talking about a visual novel? What kind of amazing technical possibilities can a new engine bring in a game like this one?
The dev had mentioned at some point that he had a shitton of ideas for mini-games, phone stuff and other random side-junk. Considering the dev's relative inexperience (which already led to some very questionable decisions and blatant mistakes), we really have to keep our fingers crossed that it won't end up being a detriment to a game overall.

I imagine you can do some cool visuals in unity, but my god.... I have seen more and more games lately in unity where the gameplay loop is 99% VN with some simple mouse inputs that affect the story branches, and either they

Don't get me wrong, I've heard nothing but good things from a developer's perspective of coding in Unity vs Python, and the engine's capabilities, but so far just about every experience I've had in Unity ended up with me finishing up the game thinking "That would've played so much better in Ren'Py".

None of this is related to Radlord or their team, just more me being paranoid about features that we might see regress quite a bit in the unity engine. Hazelnut Latte has already established itself very well, so...
