I've been getting some questions on how to start the game from some people who aren't familiar with running Doom mods. Hopefully this visual guide will help!
Downloaded brand new GZDoom and everything works.

Go to the Gzmod webpage download the latest Gzmod version just drop those files into the Standalone version and works then load the tech11 on the exe , i had the same issue.

Nah, the dev just frequently "burns out" and doesn't work on it for more than half a year.

To summarize for the fellow internet idiots like me:
1. Download latest GZDoom from "zdoom.org/downloads" (online). Extract files.
2. Download Standalone version of HDoom. Extract files.
3. Place all files of GZDoom into HDoom, replacing any neccesary.
4. Download TechDemo11 (pk3) and place into HDoom file. No need to delete TechDemo9.
5. Drag and "drop" Techdemo11 onto the "gzdoom.exe" file. Pop up opens. Click Phase 1 and Play Game.
Pls give corrections if I'm wrong. It worked for me.

iirc gzdoom got a new update that fried some older wads due to a vulnerability that came about from some scripting issue
Yeah I didn't read the script so I play doom for like 4 round until I ask myself where are the sex scenes

Tried to install it and I reached all the way until step 3. Dragging the pk3 file doesn't do anything. If anyone has any luck doing this on steam deck I'd love to know otherwise I'm just going to assume that I'm an idiot
