Are you planning to add pregenancy in future updates ?
You can only use an option once per day or encounter, so sounds like it is not a bug. Are you using all of the heart and talk options each time? Ideally, you should only be using the positive ones, which you could figure out after a few times, because using negative one will reduce your points and maybe that is the reason it keeps going down.
