Game almost kept crashing every few seconds, froze for long period, could barely do anything, and now I cannot even delete it because it keep insisting the file is being used when everything is closed, and I even check task manager. What the hell is this ?

The game shouldn't crash, but it should freeze two or three times upon launch (explained in the changelog and on the first screen). If it crashes and closes, there must be another problem.
Regarding not being able to delete it, that's a different issue. Even if you close the program, if Windows keeps it running in the background to perform a safe shutdown or try to fix it, it won't let you delete the folder. You must wait for this process to complete or restart your PC and then delete it.
Linux for the win (?

i never had a single problem on either win or linux... what user described is definitely something going on with that setup

Not sure why, it wasn't opened anywhere, as I checked on task manager, I had restart to computer for this to work. Even then, the game was pretty laggy after the 3 freeze (like I said, fps drop were ultra frequent, every 5-10 seconds), def would at least need more optimization improvement.

While I could it does bother me that I have to do that considering my setup, if I can run game like HD2 and such (that also have bad optimization) without much issue I shouldn't have issue with a Unity game like that one. My setup isn't the best yes, but it should be more than enough in theory.

Did you try as administrator ? Or just lowered the graphics a biiiiiiiiiiit not to much but a bit might work
