I don't get it. Every update we get 90% gf buildup just for her to get off screened for the 5th time and for the mom to get 2 minutes of dialogue at the end with a scene. I'm convinced she will finally have sex with the gym guy and the scene will be over a phone call with no actual scene
if you want some kind of revenge for a bullied mc this is not the game you should be playing. things will only go downhill as the story progresses
The grandmother is just an NPC with no face to antagonize the mother into NTRing the son with fear of him leaving the mother. She won't do anything for the story. As for what was discussed with the gf my guess is nothing, just pointless mystery or judging by the gf's words, the grandmother understood she is just messing with the MC.

Whatever they discussed instantly made the girlfriend change her tune, she didnt even try to hide it either
personally speaking I think that this is going to have MAJOR ramifications on the story moving forward
Cause She immediately went to do something with gavin after Johnny left and the way it was framed pretty obviously made it look like they were gonna fuck if not already did lol
Sure I get getting dissapointed cause a lot of the build up is off screened but I say let HGC cook clearly something is happening behind the scenes the question is how brutal of a end will it lead to for Johnny
My assumption about the grandmother was because the gf called her sharp, meaning she caught on to something I guess or maybe I'm reading too much into it. From her dialogue its clear she cares about MC so I doubt her words resulted into GF cheating, at least directly. I pretty much called her irrelevant because she wasn't given a face or much of anything other than the mystery talk but we'll see.
I'm just disappointed because this is probably my favorite of his games thanks to the art style, the GF design and interesting story/scene concept. If the scenes were visible for players that choose the ALL POVS gameplay then this would be the easiest 10/10. Truly feels like I'm getting cucked after excitedly starting every update that follows previous buildup just for nothing to happen.
My take on it. Idon't think the Gf had sex with gavin after johnny left the gym as he wasn't at school the next day so i think he was hurt some way. It has been mentioned that the Gf will change someone if she wants to so i think she is working with the Grandmother after seeing how rich she is and promised something from her. When the Gf dumped the bully he got angry and practically raped the mother to gain his control over her as he lost control over the GF.
if theres one thing I agree with its that the grandmother ABSOLUTELY promised something to the girlfriend
Im just questioning what and how.
As for gavin not being at school the next day that could be for any reason

I think the worst case scenario for johnny in this case is not only being abandoned by his mother for Dexter but both the girlfriend and grandmother dropping Johnny
this is a shot in the dark but im guessing either one of 2 things will happen
A. the grandmother and girlfriend will eventually drop jackson as (and this is a big assumption) what if Johnny ISNT needed for whatever end goal they have in mind, perhaps thats where gavin comes in and fills that role, I understand wanting to think the grandmother has johnny's interest in mind but at the same time,9 times out of 10 everyone in a HGC story is a abhorrent piece of shit or spineless so....Im not holding my breath for her
B. they DO need Johnny around but they clearly wont care about him fully, my guess is that they'll keep him around and perhaps maybe even mind break him in the process via Manipulation etc etc
or there is option C
going off what Dex said its clear he and Kate are likely to do something to get the grandmother out of the picture So whatever that is could vastly change the story lol
This would have been a thousand times better if the MC wasn't a spineless dolt, reclaimed his mom and cucked the bully to boot. Sick of spineless MCs with the brainpower of an amoeba.

Tbf Hangover Cat's games aren't famous for character redemption like that, you're meant to feel helpless and powerless to stop anything from happening.
hate to be the bearer of normal news but
2 things and neither of these things are meant to be in offense to you.
1. NTR"s are usually known to have spineless MC"s because thats the point of the genre, if the MC wasnt spineless there wouldnt BE a NTR
2.While there are some rare exceptions to the rule, this is a HGC game and literally in all his previous works the MC was spineless
I'm going to just say this now, if you entered the game expecting the MC to pop off or something Im afraid you're better off looking for a game that would fit that niche case as we're more than half way into the story and it looks like the MC is only going to get more pathetic from here
Yeah MC being a spineless loser who gets destroyed on every level seems to be a specific fetish for people. I don't get it either but these games are very popular.
Would love to see a twist on these games or an ending where the MC grows a giant dick and gets revenge on the bully.
