I can't seem to get the native linux file [.sh] to run. I noticed that the .sh file is only 1.6kb compared to the .exe which is 19.0kb, so maybe the file is corrupted or incomplete? Anyone else have this problem?

This was a damn waste of time, all that emotional development and it just gets thrown away for blackmail. Might as well have just blackmailed her from the start and saved us all some time

and the blackmail is just to make it easier for Kate to lose control and start escalating things to get there
You missed my point. The point I'm making is that, if we're going this route we could have just done it in the beginning, instead we got a whole spiel of emotional connection building between the two that just gets reduced to nothing now.
In the end, the game just falls back on classic NTR cliches to actually get things done. So there was no point in adding all that bonding in the first place

Honestly, Johnny deserves it all.
He keeps saying how important his mother is yet drops her the second Lesley smiles it him. Keeps digging his own grave by being a wimpy simp (but honestly Kate should have just confronted him about Lesley and be done with it) and doesn't even love his mother enough to actually do anything. He is 18 yet can't tell when someone's giving a handjob, and can't recognise semen on Lesley's face.
you're simply ignoring how much the mother betrayed the son already through the emotional connection she had. betraying her son because feelings she has doesn't simply disappear into the void suddenly cause dex said a "threat". that netorare really happened and she really did it. "blackmail" doesn't suddenly absolve her of everything she's done so far like you're trying to imply. not just that but "blackmail" without any basis doesn't even work instead it's more twisting the arm of somebody who is partially willing.

I'm not saying she didn't betray him, I'm commenting on the usefulness of all of Kate and Dexter's bonding to the story, if we're just going to blackmail her into submission, then her emotional connection to Dexter just doesn't matter because the blackmail will push her to be corrupted. So all that time with them ends up being a waste
Dexter threatened to kill Johnny if Kate doesn't have sex with him on the date, it happened after he showed her Lesley giving Johnny a handie.

The real question here is... Does Kate even care about Johnny? Or will she just prefer Dexter? I think she'll choose Dexter over Johnny even without threatening, but this game is an NTR game you know? This one was already towarding to that point, If the game turns into some vanilla love story between Kate and Dexter author can't sell it like an NTR game. And here comes the authors savior blackmail path, with that NTR shenanigans can continue.

My complaint is that the emotional development isn't needed if we're just going to resort to blackmailing her to have sex then fucking her into submission. And i honestly don't think the NTR is that strong, Johnny honestly doesn't give a shit about Kate, with how much he ignores her and ignores signs of danger to her, i can't even consider him to be her son after everything he did. He's such an asshole the NTR doesn't even feel like it anymore.
I think Kate wants to care, but with how much crap Johnny gives her she's going to just be done with him eventually. I think Kate views him more as a responsibility than an object of affection, especially since it's his fault that she has to submit to Dexter now and he's constantly choosing everyone else over her.
It could've still been a NTR without the blackmail, Kate was already starting to get feelings for Dexter, author went like 70% without blackmail and now it just throws away all the progress by choosing to blackmail her into submission

No, it was her fault in the first place, cuz she strongly opposed her mother in laws suggestion sending Johnny to military. Now I know and agree that Johnny is gutless and a brainless stupid (just like main characters like most of other HC games) but that wasn't Johnny's fault.
It could have been, but the game should have end at that point, as mother NTR was the premise of this game and Dexter and Kate love each other already. Like I said, she probably would choose Dexter over Johnny even at this point, so that means game could quickly turn into a love story of Kate and Dexter. But author wants to make money with this game, if he does not want to finish this project yet he needs to keep NTR shenanigans going. Blackmail is just the right tool for that.
