The power of futa goddess can make the impossible happen, even rewriting code that never existed.
Fear...... or Praise the futa cum.
I'm just so confused. The only thing that does is reload the map, but no matter what angle I look at this from that doesn't need to be done. Everything I know is a lie.

Wait, what? Why the hell did this work? I mean, I'm glad it did, but that makes zero sense.
I'm going to make an educated guess here, but at some point during the event you likely move the event that needs to be interacted with in order to enter the hole. So it is no longer where the hole is. When you leave the map and come back the map is reloaded, so the event is put back on its original position and thus can now be interacted with.

Alternatively, instead of a Move command it could be a Set Event Location command - the end result is the same.

You're right, the part that I'm not getting is why the event isn't moving back in to place like it should?

Edit: Regardless of the reason, I just went through and triple checked. It's working for me, so I assume whatever was broken is fixed.
Edit Edit: I put a fail-safe in. Just in case it's me being stupid.

The most likely reason is another event being there, thus blocking the move. The second most likely reason is the lack of a Wait command causing the move to be skipped for some reason.

I would first set Through to ON for this one move and then add a mandatory Wait command to the Move Right part, just in case.

Nothing blocking the move, but the skipping is an idea. Fail-safe has waits and repeats, so there's no way it can be skipped.

Yo, I tested this game and I have to say, it's actually not bad, quite the opposite—it even pleased me a lot. I tested the game up to Chapter 7 and I am generally satisfied. However, there are a few things that bother me immensely.

For one, the MC (main character) is supposed to be a Futa. Up to Chapter 7, I haven't seen a single Futa, including the MC, but only trans content.

"Futanari (ふたなり, seldom: 二形, 双形, literally: dual form; 二成, 双成, literally: '[to be of] two kinds') is the Japanese word for hermaphroditism, which is also used in a broader sense for androgyny.[1][2]: 79, 81

Beyond Japan, the term has come to be used to describe a commonly pornographic genre of eroge, manga, and anime, which includes characters that show primary sexual characteristics from both females and males.[1] In today's language, it refers almost exclusively to characters who have a female or overall feminine body, but have both female and male primary genitalia (although a scrotum is not always present, while breasts, a penis, and a vulva are). The term is also often abbreviated as futa(s), which is also used as a generalized term for the works themselves.[2]"
If I go by this definition, the MC is just a transsexual for me. So a guy in a woman's body without certain female parts. Every single scene so far has focused only on the penis and not on the female genitalia. I mean, it has been claimed in various posts that she is a Futa. HJ, BJ, Mj. Everything has been there so far, but in not a single scene has the supposedly present female genitalia of the MC even been looked at (she is supposed to be a FUTA). Moreover, it is starting to get repetitive. Quest. HJ or BJ etc., but no penetration, nothing at all really. Yes, there is plenty of milking (which I actually find cool!!)

I think this significantly limits the gaming experience. Furthermore, it bothers me that within just 10 minutes of gameplay there are characters with whom you can't have fun. I still believe that if there is a character in the game who is approachable, you should be able to have fun with that character. I was already looking forward to having some fun with a Neko Girl, but nope, that's impossible.

Of course, there are other points, but these are the two most important ones that absolutely bother me about this game! Otherwise, as mentioned, the game is well-designed and well-thought-out. Nice quests! And especially varied quests. I personally find the story itself very interesting! That's why I will keep playing it. But if Futa content is advertised, there should also be some. As I said, I go by the definition of FUTA ( ).

That's all for now about my current review.

Thank you for the in-depth review and giving your thoughts! Lets address some things.
For one, the MC (main character) is supposed to be a Futa. Up to Chapter 7, I haven't seen a single Futa, including the MC, but only trans content.
Though it's never a focus, there is futa vaginal usage as the game goes on. It's not much, but it's there.
Moreover, it is starting to get repetitive. Quest. HJ or BJ etc., but no penetration, nothing at all really. Yes, there is plenty of milking (which I actually find cool!!)
This is due to my own inexperience, and my insistence that the primary love interest gets the first penetration scene. Said inexperience meant I didn't really know how to make spicy, non-penetrative scenes. It really shows in the early game.
I was already looking forward to having some fun with a Neko Girl, but nope, that's impossible.
She's underage, and I'm not comfortable with that type of content. She has a model, but is by no means an important character. Her reason for having a model is she's going to act as the "big sister" to the MC's daughter, and she needed a model to do so. Lesson learned, though. I have perfectly of-age cat girls in the wings for my next game!

I understand that. But I still stand by my opinion regardless. To be honest, age doesn't matter to me. However, I admit that I like to play games (only games!) where you can do something forbidden. But that's not the point.
As I said, the character is responsive and you can interact with it, so I also expect from a (porn) game that I can have fun with this character. It's that simple for me. If a message comes up that this is not possible, it's just like if you were about to starve and someone held a steak in front of your nose and said you can only look at and sniff this steak, but not touch it, eat it, etc.

Fair enough. Didn't mean to imply you couldn't hold that opinion, just giving my reasoning for the decision.

Interesting that you mention that.
As for the Item Shop. For me, they are usually just sellers. So NPCs that are introduced to buy something. Logical, isn't it? So these characters are basically forced to be there whether they have a model or not.
I see it like this.
I mentioned that if a character is approachable and you can interact with them, then you should also have fun with them in a “porn” game. Of course that hasn't changed. However, the exception is characters like store owners etc. In principle, you don't really interact with them. You click on them and you get the store gui. That's why it didn't even occur to me that I would want something from the lady. For me, scenes with such characters are bonus scenes that are very welcome. Or nice side stories. Which are of course also very welcome.

As for the other two characters. Well, as I said before. As long as it's just games, I'm always willing to play something forbidden (it's just fiction after all). Which is not to imply anything, of course.
I asked myself the question from the start anyway. Why mention the age of a character when it's a fantasy creature? I mean, you're addressing them. “Oh she's underage, hands off”. Why?

It's much easier to make her out to be a beastman who can be extremely old like “elves” and still look like a tennie. I personally am a C# / c++ programmer. When I create characters I always try to do it without age etc.. I prefer to create a story that fits the character and explains why it is there, why it looks like that, what the background is. So in 80%-90% of cases I get away with just using an approximate or estimated age. Which in turn makes everything easier. I can also give the player the opportunity to enter their own age.

Well, at least those are my thoughts. I don't mean to criticize. I just let my thoughts run free. As I said, your game is good. And I am very satisfied with it, except for a few areas where improvements could be made. But all in all, you did a good job, and I congratulate you on your game.

But a small tip on the side: Hardcoded stats, names, ages, etc., I would not use as a programmer and developer. The end user should have the free choice of what they want. Instead, I would set guidelines such as:

This is a human who can only live up to 100 years, and this human is female, and this is the story; decide the rest of the parameters yourself.

This is an elf who can live up to 1000 years. Generally, elves are considered teenagers until they are 100 years old. And so on, and so on. This way, you can avoid many pitfalls. But that was just a small tip from my side.

I wish you much success with your game in any case.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to share your thoughts! I'm always happen to hear varying opinions on things, even if I don't share said opinion. Speaking of which:

I've played many games where I totally agree with this. I don't think this would fit in mine, though. While the ages were more of an afterthought, I chose every name very deliberately. I think it would actively detract from the game to allow custom names.

I’m glad that you share this opinion :) I’m also happy that you’ve put some thought into this. So, I’ll share my thoughts as well. When I design a game, I do the following:

  • Decide which characters will be in the game and what roles they play in the story.
  • Determine the characteristics of these characters.
    • Naturally, you need to know why these characters are in the game in the first place!
      • Are they involved in story-relevant events? Just for sex? Just for information? Both? In short, why is the character in the game at all?
  • Once I have decided who the main characters are, what characteristics they should have, and their connection to the MC is clear (mother, sister, daughter, etc.),
  • I then think about how I want to design these characters. Which attributes are essential and which are less important?
    • It’s important to consider whether these attributes will be revealed in the game. For example, virginity (since we’re talking about an eroge).
  • Do these characters have friends/relatives, and will they be included in the game? For example, an aunt, etc.
    • In short, I first create a complete family tree around the MC and their immediate characters.
  • After that, I think about names, like you do. After all, these need to be included in the game somehow.
  • Age, stats, and names are irrelevant up to this point (names are just placeholders).
  • Then, I develop a background story for each character, including strengths and, most importantly, weaknesses. These need to be clearly defined from the start, as they affect the characters' personalities.
  • Once everything is established in the form of guidelines, I can start thinking about how to develop the characters from a programming perspective.
    • Does the character need a specific age? Is it enough to mention a range? For example, the MC is the brother, and this is his younger sister. (Clearly defined puberty signs must be present, and if not, there must be a clear reason why not. For example, the sister has no breasts because her genes make her more boyish. She is still just a little younger than the MC.) Clearly define everything, including body structure and backstory. The most important aspect is credibility.
  • Once I have clearly defined the environment around the MC and determined which parameters are necessary to mention, I consider which ones I can make variable and which ones not. Hence the background story.
  • In most cases, I can let the user (player) define names, ages, relationships, and sexuality since these often don't play a major role in the story. I mean, why should I hardcode that Isabella is underage? It’s much smarter to say Isabella is mature enough to make her own decisions about whom she wants to sleep with, as long as it sounds credible. Then age doesn’t matter initially. After all, Isa could be a succubus, a demon, or even an elf, and the MC has that blood too but doesn't know it yet (similar to your story with the fragment of a god).
  • I repeat this process with additional characters. In the end, I often have one or more folders full of stories about the characters without having written a single line of code.
  • When I finally write my code, I know exactly which parameters and stats I can keep variable.
As I said, in 80% of cases, this is almost always:

  • Name - Last name (except for predetermined names in the story)
  • Age -> according to the story, body structure, illnesses, etc.
  • Sexuality -> can also affect the game. Choose fetishes, gay, bi, etc.
  • Single -> Route. Can be interesting at the beginning if a girlfriend is introduced.
  • Strengths -> Good at math, fighting, etc.
  • Special features: is a futa, has a large or small dick, etc.
  • Gender -> only if there is a choice, otherwise it’s less of an option.
For side characters like the neko cat, I wouldn’t mention an age, or if I did, only an approximate age. She could be found and adopted into a village. She could be 20 years old but still a child from a beast’s perspective and an adult or at least a teenager from a human perspective, etc. It’s all about the introduction, and that’s why the background is so important.

This makes the game more dynamic and allows for more variability.

Before this text gets too long, I just wanted to share how I approach such issues and avoid many pitfalls from the start by addressing problems like the infamous (underage) topic. It’s all a matter of the story.

Regarding your game, well, you’ve put some thought into it. That’s immediately noticeable. And you’ve implemented everything well, but I think you’re focusing only on the current problems, which makes the game seem straightforward. As I said, within the first 10 minutes, it’s like... nope, stay away from the neko. Because she’s underage. But you had so many opportunities to make it more believable and build a mini-story around it.

In short, this is my approach. I think your game could be improved a lot by tweaking it here and there using this method.

As I said, no criticism, just tips!!

---
Edit: What I forgot to mention: Always ask yourself if it's story-relevant to hardcode something. Does this value, name, fetish, etc., need to be unchangeable? Is it essential that someone is named Lilly, or can they be renamed? Is it necessary that they are exactly 18 years, 4 months, and 3 days old, or is it enough to say they are old enough? Okay, maybe even specify that they are of legal age to appease critics. Is it necessary to mention that they have a birthmark above their left breast, etc.? These questions should also be considered when designing, optimizing, and reshaping a character. However, make sure that the psyche or personality changes accordingly or remains the same, depending on the adjustment. Personality is also a crucial factor. Every character has their own personality!

We actually share a pretty similar process! But as for tweaking, it's a bit late in this stage. The game only has a few more updates now. I'll keep all of this in mind for the next one, though. Thank you!
