Two possible reasons. Either A, you're missing the hotfix that fixes that bug, or B you've reached the end of the game where she is set to that level for story reasons.
The update patch is to go from 1.04 to 1.05. If you downloaded the game from the other links, you don't need it. The hotfix is for 1.05 to fix some small bugs, and you always need it.

- Download the hotfix for the LvL 99 thing
- When Lily is with you, press A. There is a Headpat option
- As was stated in the tutorial, Press E to bring up the system menu where you can turn off random encounters
- You can skip nearly everything by not doing sidequests and holding a key, which was again stated in the tutorial
- AGAIN the tutorial tells you how to call your companion
- You got me on the memes
- The game has a built in fast travel system and the quest objective literally tells you where to go at all times.
- Progression is literally ALWAYS through the quest board. I can not make it easier than that.
- Later in the game are custom animations, once I was comfortable enough making them.

by all means i didn't mean to lie in the review, i played a lot of it thru the most inconvienient way possible because this is what you put as default setting

You have to use the hotfix, because the game will black screen.
No, the actual E key on your keyboard. As is stated in the tutorial, you can turn off random encounters, turn on easy mode, etc.
The tutorial tells you fast travel is the D key.
You did not read the tutorial, so you portray the game as if you can not do these things, it is not the "default setting". It is not my fault you did not read the tutorial. The only thing correct in your review is the meme thing, which was vastly reduced later in-game because of feedback. Even the "random crystal thing" is part of the story.
If you need to know the hotkeys, please use the hotkeys key item and it will tell you.

To be perfectly honest i never read any tutorial i just wanna get to actual gameplay and work things back from there
i believe game should have intuitive design and not require you to read A4 pages of prep before play

The tutorial is a couple lines of text. Skipping the tutorial and then complaining you can't do something that it tells you how to do is just not right. If your review had stated something like "I wish the hotkeys were on screen" I wouldn't have said anything. If you had said I wish combat/scenes where better, I would have accepted it, as I have in the past. A "I wish the tutorial was better integrated rather than just thrown at you" would've gotten a "Yeah, you right."
What I won't accept is outright lies because you chose to skip over the thing that tells you how to play. In future, if you plan to review a game, please do not skip the tutorials as you will universally have a worse experience, and no dev wants players to have a bad time. They are there for a reason.
I hope that if you play again, you have a better experience with the game now that you know how to play. If not, that's okay. If you do, I am always open to feedback. Obviously I can't implement into a completed game, but I am working on another game where I could possibly implement it. No pressure to play, though.

i m sorry if my knowledge wasn't adequate to enjoy your game, i didn't know tutorial will provide any useful information because it never does
i will always skip tutorials, i believe game should be design in a way that let you works things up and have a good time
i can play fallout 1 without reading anything more than accidentally pressed F1 menu

you'd better off muting this "whatmi" guy, this things flaunting everywhere about his developmental dyslexia, rating a game just because he didnt read any description before playing, and everything, cant believe how he can access internet in the first place, i bet he use grok aswell, smh
So in the main quest where you first meet Tenebris or however her name is spelt, there is torch behind a secret in the forest dimension before you go through the crystal to encounter her. What the fuck does it do? I have looked all over this dungeon looking for what it changed.
That is actually what unlocks the path to get to her in the first place.
