VN - Ren'Py - Healslut [v0.99d] [Davie Zwei]

A novel concept of storycraft in this site. MMORPG, magic fantasy world, Sci-Fi, real life of a normal asocial nerd... it's a bit of everything, combined with good amount of adult content of course. Good quality writings and well designed choice-based branchings. Renders and animations are enjoyable, too. Content is still somewhat limited as of V0.4d, but there's unlimited potential to look forward to.

Some people who feel deceived by the "male protagonist" tag and give this game one star are doing a disservice to an overall funny, creative and sexy piece of work that, for me, would easily find itself on the top 10 games of this site. I don't mean to spoil anything, but you do get the option to play as a male character. Let me explain that further. Healslut is an unfortunate, or rather fortunate, experience of a stereotypical asocial gamer who, due to a mysterious malfunction, got stuck playing as, you guessed it, a slut who does healing in a Sword-Art-Online type of virtual reality MMORPG. The catch is, you do have a say in what your avatar would look like throughout the course of the game. The greatest strength of Healslut is its character design. Every character in this game is unique and pleasing in their own ways. You can't help but find reason to love them all.

Now I get that we all have different preferences and some just don't want to see themselves as a female character. That's why you should be careful of tags like "female protagonist" or "transformation". Please don't take it on the developer if you don't like the game. That is not a fair assessment of their hard work.

Good game with a simple but intriguing story in a cyber-virtual mmorpg world switching between reality with twists and nice humor, well-written dialogue between characters with plenty of choices which do have an impact on story progression, even if some are minor as well as a gender choice at the beginning of the game for the main character. The visuals are very pleasant with distinct and interesting characters and well made intimate and sex scenes most of which are optional depending on your choices in-game. Overall a very tightly written well-done adult vn with good visuals as well as heart and humor.

- Characters are well defined each with specific personalities
- Intriguing and well writen storyline and conversations
- The game will frequently let you make own decissions, each time tweaking the game a little in the near and/or further future, but not in a way that the game roadmap would completely change, which is good! (personaly I don't like games where developers try to put too many different fetishes and roadmaps into one game; this game stays true to it's main roadmap and fetishes while still letting you tweak the outcome a bit to your preference ^^)

Best game I have come across in a while. Funny, great rendors, and I'm interested to see where the various plot lines go. I like that there is a separate IRL plot line as well. Hopefully development on this game moves quickly.

I don't know why there is Male Protagonist tag when you can't even play as a male protagonist. Waste of my time downloading just to find that out. The CGs aren't that good its alright, I have seen much better, would i say its worth your time, i guess if you like this genre other than that its pretty bad.

This game is still new but have a lot of potential.
As a player you have a lot of choice influencing the course of the game an building the ,,perfect'' party.

This game is absolutely incredible. Some really great writing, with characters you get to really know and care about, and some truly hot, kinky sex scenes. This game is one in a million! Can't wait for more.

Just too much fun, though I constantly have the sneaking suspicion I'm missing vast swathes of content based on my choices. Which, I guess, is a good thing.

The good humour of the whole thing is much appreciated.

Yeah, if you include a Male Protagonist tag you should really have a male protagonist, and not try to hide behind the idea that the male protagonist is playing as a female character. I realize that technically the male protagonist would be the gamer himself, but the problem is that the gameplay primarily seems to take place in the 'MMO world' not having the option to select gender and go from there really seems to be a bit disingenuous.

By far one of my fav games on the site! Excellent quality images and the writing is equally excellent. I would definitly recomend! (don't want to give anything away but I love how my choices have impacted my now very low standing in the group!)

I came across this one by pure accident - another user's signature i believe.

And i have been most pleasantly surprised by this one . Not only is it a masterpiece of parody on MMO as a genre but very well made in both graphics and dialogue. The puns arent subtle but also not too much as in many other parody attempts.

Idea and execution deserve a full star rating from my side.

What a fantastic story so far, with a ton of different routes. The decisions you make for the MC are impactful on how the story plays out, and how the MC changes and adapts to the situations presented. Excellent writing and humor, along with some very sexy scenes. The NPCs are especially well-written. I also love the dual life the PC has... the IRL component where they're super socially-awkward, and the in-game component where the awkwardness disappears... sort of. Above all, it's still a quality sex game.

Only a few sex scenes and those were only 2-3 images.
I tried to read all different paths where the game forked out, perhaps I did miss something.

The characters are believable, the renders could be better as there were some grains, also the back drop could more different as they were reused more than necessary IMHO.

What I found disturbing was the gender bender and not knowing which sex the characters were to begin with, but I learnt that as I interacted with the VN.

At first this seemed like a generic "nerd gets transported into a fantasy game, sexual shenanigans ensue" story.
Well, that's not entirely wrong but it is so high quality that it deserves to stand out. This is clearly something that has effort put into it.

The biggest positive Healslut has going for it is the quality of its writing and characters. In the very beginning it might seem ordinary but that may just have been my skepticism from all the lazy low quality stuff that gets shoveled on this site constantly. Immediately noticeable is that it is written in proper english without typos and mistakes in every sentence.

As the first few moments of comedy and typical "Oh no, I'm confused in this new world" pass I started to notice the depth of the characters around the MC. They aren't one-dimensional things to fuck. They have personalities that go beyond a single stereotype, backstories and motivations. This is the best part of Healslut. Watching the characters talk, act and develop is a joy. They have complex relationships with each other and with this new healer, their actions have consequences and their reactions are believable within their context. I cared about them beyond the obvious appeal of having sex with them.
Even the two characters I thought would be the worst, IRL MC and Wejit, ended up surprising me. Wejit is not just a pervert who wants to fuck you, he's likable and his bond with Sparkle is interesting. IRL MC has a yet mysterious backstory that I'm looking forward to seeing revealed. My favorite character has to be Panki but for the sake of not making this 3 pages long that's all I'll say.
The biggest problem I have with Healslut is Sparkle herself. She is too passive. She has no initiative. She doesn't do much of anything and instead things just happen to her. She goes along with what is happening seemingly never breaking out of her stupor and being overwhelmed by everything. Other characters start liking her just because of her naïve innocence and her hot bod. She doesn't seduce or impress. This is something I hope will improve with future content.
The comedy here works well enough that I was smiling and chuckling at some of the interactions between characters and their quirks. No obnoxious 4th wall breaking here.

The story progression is fairly linear with all my choices only seemingly having an effect on how much other characters liked me and whether or not I gave some random NPCs a blowjob or not. I'm fine with that. The one story being told here is great already. It's better than having the dev be overwhelmed with unreconcilable branching stories. There was one particular spoilery choice that at least "seems" to be very important but the current version doesn't show what the consequences will be.

The quality of the visuals in Healslut is quite impressive to me. I don't know to what degree the assets in use are unique or reused in various other porn games but I do know what I saw here looks good. Sex scenes are hot and use a decent variety of poses so it doesn't become boring. Even action scenes have effort put into them.

In conclusion, I love what Healslut is so far. This is one of the best stories I have seen on F95. Even if my issues with Sparkle aren't solved in future updates, Heaslut will probably remain one of the best VNs around. I can't wait for more.

I have really been enjoying this game and am very excited for new updates. They can't come out fast enough. Interesting world. Love the theme.
It's only the beginning, and there's plenty of places to go, but I'm already working on multiple play throughs to find all the differences. I do hope that with all the options, the game doesn't become too unwieldy for the designers, but so far, so good.

Guys. We need to talk about (I can't believe I'm going to say this word) Healslut.

WTF. I mean that. Seriously. What. The. Fuck.

This game has no right to be as good as it is. It's hilarious. It's fascinating. The characters are interesting. The world is mysterious and unfolding. It's hilarious. It's hot - how the hell does Sparkle look that good? Lel? The rest?

Did I mention it's hilarious?

I am waiting with baited breath to see what happens next. And I am completely uninterested in transformation games. Like at all. But this? What the hell is going on? Where is this going? And how can I get Sparkle naked more often?

I fuckin love this game so far. The transformation is done great and even teased to take an even bigger role. The writing is immersive and the scenes are hot.
Potential to be my favourite game ever tbh. Wish I could time travel to the finished version.

I have played No Money Down Blues by the same creator a few years ago and it's incredible, really, how much his writing has evolved. There are a lot funny dialogues, sexy events and diverse paths to meet new characters as well as options which affect you. It's well crafted, well executed, and definitely shows the time and care that was put into writing it. The transformation - unlike its predecessor - it is well made and original.

There wasn't any sex (at least during MY playthrough) but I really started to feel an emotional connection with the characters - specially Lel - and with the story itself.

I cannot recommend this game enough to anyone who likes transformation themed games.

I did not expect to like this game. The sample renders weren't anything that really interested me and the idea seemed ridiculous. That being said, I really enjoyed it. That isn't to say the game isn't ridiculous but it is intentional and comes off as quite humorous to me.
