"Heart throbbing"? I've only seen that used in pure love romance. Seems kinda weird to use it in one like this.
The Japanese onomatopoeia term "Dokidoki" is used to describe the heart throbbing / racing heartbeat sensation that might occur when you are in a happy but stressful situation, such as when you are trying to find the courage to confess your love or something like that. It can also be used in neutral situations when you are describe anxious waiting.

But this title uses just a single "Doki", and in that case the nuance would be describe as more "neutral" or even "slightly negative" than "happy" - it's more of a "heart skips a beat due to surprise" thing.

Overview:
One day , Akihito is threaten by a man holding damaging evidence that could hurt Mimuru's career.
Akihito agrees to pay 10 Million yen to the man in exchange for the evidence, getting himself in heavy debt in the process.
