Wow, you guys are really seeking to avoid NTR in an NTR game, haha. I guess it’s human nature to want that glimmer of hope in even the most despair-inducing darkness.

With very smart decision making (and perhaps a bit of “help” using the secret walkthrough on Patreon), I suppose it’s possible to avoid “hard NTR” content. By that, I’m assuming people mean penetrative sex and the heroine becoming a c×cksleeve for the evil bastard.

Now, this “pure route” is very obscure and requires some unintuitive decision making. It’s not the intended playing order, and you’ll also miss a good chunk of the H scenes, being that this is an NTR game. I always planned for this to be a secret route, but to avoid this thread being dominated by "Is the NTR avoidable?" discussion, I might as well let the cat out of the bag. Lmao.

Writing multiple routes actually isn’t an issue for me, that was always in the works. Like, Chapter 1 is 25k words and already longer than many visual novels, ahaha. What can I say? I love reading and writing; pressing left-click is my favorite form of gameplay.

Anyway, the main thing keeping me up at night is funding. What you see here is basically years of saving for me, since I have barely anything left after rent, bills, and family are paid for. I need to reserve my slots well in advance, so I apologize if my Patreon shilling gets a little annoying.

Honestly, one of my biggest regrets is not having those two H-scenes (restroom, stairway) already included in Chapter 1. If I knew my game was gonna get leaked, I'd want to start off on a good impression, hahaha. I just had no money, so I will expand those scenes once I save enough.

Anyhow, I’ve just released Chapter 2.
It’s a succinct, action-packed chapter that leads to Chapter 3, which will contain the first real H-scene. Chapter 3 itself is hella long (about 15k words) because it contains an alternate route depending on Akari’s choices in Chapters 1&2. I’m furiously working on it as we speak.

I am uh… contractually obligated to tell you to subscribe to the Patreon to play Chapter 2.

Damn son, this VN was very well written, with good grammar and narrative build up. It was kinda shocking honestly, I was not expecting this level quality, given the usual standard of writing that we get on 90% of porn games around here. The subject matter of rape also hits much harder here, because the writing delivers proper tension and gravitas to the situation.

I wish you good luck dev, but I'll tell you this: despite the overall quality and polish of your VN, based on what I've seen from years of following porn games, is that these kinds of projects live and die by the smut content. It pains to say this, but if you expect to garner support around these parts relying on writing alone, sadly it won't work. People aren't here just to buy novels after all (however good they are).

Seeing as you're aiming for NTR, well it might just be my subjective view on this which may be incorrect, but there could be a clash between the hard theme of rape (which based on the current story, happens from the very start), and the what the target audience would expect from an NTR story. Things like the slow build up of corruption and escalation of sex scenes. What I'm trying to say is that this thematic conflict might hamper the growth of your support base.

I was genuinely impressed by your demo and I'd like to see where this story goes. I'm saying this because I actually want you to succeed.

Tbh I'm also one of those that like having a "good" ending where you can skip most if not all of the ntr, but that's not because I wanna read ONLY that version of the story but because knowing that I can avoid ntr, trying my hardest to and still failing/getting ntr'd is what gives me the most enjoyement out of ntr stories
When it's forced and unavoidable I'm just like "whatever", it's still fine but it's not as exciting as "oh shit I fucked up it's happening now"
Though it's a difficult balance to strike as the game needs to be "hard" enough to possibly make the player fail without feeling like you're railroaded on the bad route on your first playthrough either, you really have to feel like it's YOUR fault as the player and not the game's (also some games are so obvious in what the choices will lead to that you actually need to consciously take very bad choices to see the ntr scenes, those are way worse than unavoidable ntr in my opinion, it really takes you out of the story)

I don’t do unrealistic choices. You’ll see my characters choke under pressure and do dumb things, but the bad guys mess up a lot too. Situations in my VN are very much about recognizing the protagonist’s own weaknesses while exploiting those left open by others.

Too often, games either make the fat bastard invincible or give the MC infinite plot armor, which gets a bit annoying when there’s no stakes, haha.

Maybe this is stupid to ask if this is supposed to be a NTR focus game but even outside of the pure route will there be wholesome scenes between the main characters and possible good endings?

There are certainly wholesome scenes. Chocolate is bitter but better with sugar, and NTR is very much the same way. Pure despair all the way through is just lazy writing.

Now, I’ve mentioned this a while back, but the endings aren't exactly "good" or bad" but fall in a scale between them. Some endings are better than others, but the main audience is NTR so 95% of the scenes will concern that. That being said, I think it’s way too early to discuss endings. A lot can change during development, so all I can say is: There will be least one "happy" route.

Before all else, let’s worry about getting the funds to develop the game first.

2 Updates 2 GB
If the large size is due to quality or a large number of CG, it is great
But if it is because of lack of optimization, it is not good, a few more updates will reach 10 GB

Oh yeah. I upgraded the sound samples and added new H sounds in preparation for Ch3. Some of these are ASMR-tier so the quality is high. The older files were OGG, but I reasoned there are enough audiophiles and HD space now that leaving it in WAV is okay!

I'm quite serious about H-scenes and making them feel atmospheric. So you’ll hear undressing sounds and skin on skin rubbing, etc. I’ve put a fair bit of attention to sound design in the first two Chapters, but Chapter 3 will be even better IMO. You won’t hear weird ploopy sounds that’ll destroy your f×pping session.

Anyway, if 3GB is still too big, I'm sure the leakers will find some way to compress it anyway, haha. I’m not done optimizing and this version isn’t meant for wide release, so there will space savings once I delete unused files.

As for new CGs, I can’t release these every patch. It takes me many months to save for one (+ voice acting). If you want to see lots of badass CGs in alternate routes,

Lastly, since the audio update has been completed, the game size will remain relatively stable from now on. Next major increase will be when animation is added (but that comes much later, when we have more readers). So please spread the word around if you can.

The NTR isn't really avoidable in a normal playthrough, it's more of a bonus that I wanted to keep secret but people insisted on knowing. I have to let the cat out of the bag otherwise the thread will derail into avoidable/unavoidable discussion haha.

I spend an ungodly amount of time writing and perfecting routes, so both will be extremely satisfying no matter which you end up on IMO. If I include something it will definitely be 100% of my effort, and I actually cried a few times writing Ch. 3 cause I felt so bad for Akari.

Anyway, my main focus will always be NTR, and the H-scenes will reflect that.

Naw, not anything heavy. More fun trivia, slightly plot-reelvant, but definitely no subplot of low-balling people and coming out with absolute steals. It surely factors into his life outlook, but we are not Pawn Star simulating ahaha. Gotta keep things on-point and manageable but there are small segments here and there.

Judging by Akari's reaction to the train scene, the answer to the main question is clear. The prologue is really obscure and cut off, leaving questions. Why Rei and Akari's names in dialogue are not fully visible.

It will become clear when this first scene in train can be played from Akari's point of view.

Judging from the art, text, and voice-acting, you're trying to market to both Japanese and English-speaking audiences at this stage in development. Right now, there's only Japanese voice acting. Would you commission for English voice acting provided you have the budget?

IF I had the budget, I would promise the stars and everything.

Unfortunately, our budget is really small, our Patreon doesn’t even bring in enough to pay for an editor, let alone JP voice acting ahaha. I don’t do "rev-share" or make my artists work free or that nonsense—everything is paid up full and upfront at fair rates. It’s a disaster working on credit, that’s how games get canceled, and I refuse to hire anyone without the cold solid cash on hand to pay them.

Now, if some kind soul wants to pay for English voice acting, I’ll gladly take them up on it, but for now the only thing I can do is write and write, and hope more people notice us and subscribe uwu. Until then, I’m not making any promises. The same way I can’t promise "vanilla" H-scenes, cure to cancer, Tom Brady retiring, etc.

My marketing skills are zilch, so I’m totally depending on you guys’ word of mouth (and the game being good) to carry me ahahaha. If even 5% of ppl that DL'ed the game subbed to the lowest tier, we would have enough funding to finish with plenty of scenes, but that's a pipe dream haha. (Actual conversion rates are like, lower than 0.01%).

BTW, we aren’t actually marketing to JP. The game’s script is way too big for that, someone will need to fan translate or our Patreon will need to giga explode for me to do that. (I won't use MTL out of respect to my players.) We do plan to sell on DL site English if we get accepted there (hence mosaics) but the uncensored visuals will always be available on my Patreon.

This has always been a game for NTR EN fans who love slow corruption and hand-drawn anime visuals. Nothing more, nothing less.

Whew, I’ve written quite a bit on this subject already. There is NTR and there is a more… vanilla route. Both are stellar IMO and answer different questions; you won’t get a half-ass route that ends in 5 minutes, that’s for sure. But NTR has much more scenes definitely, because that's the theme of the game.

As for me, I didn’t even want to say there was a "vanilla route," but I get asked this everywhere in DM and here, even some Patreon subs ask this, haha. So I’d rather answer the question directly instead of being annoyingly vague about it.

As for the prologue video, what has happened does indeed happen. A red-haired girl who knows R×× did get assaulted. Ch. 3 will explain everything, and you can make your judgment there whether you will accept the truth (or not).
