For 80,000$ a month I expecting high class AAA graphics and not this bull shiity looks like a child made game -.-
Not yet. Possibly coming sometime later. Is this supposed to be a multiplayer game?
about 85k per month now according to their Patreon page alone. Jeez, most people don't earn that much in a year. For 80,000$ a month I expecting high class AAA graphics and not this bull shiity looks like a child made game -.-
not yet, last update says they're working towards that apparentlyIs this supposed to be a multiplayer game?
it's a 4 or 5 person team iirc, and they release updates basically every month. it's not like they're a 100 person studio that can shit out a complete game in 6 months or something lol. plus pretty sure patreon takes a cut and depending where they live they have to pay income taxes on that money too, as much as 30% or more depending. still not an insignificant amount of money but I doubt they're getting rich off it either. dunno why ya'll are complaining anyway, it's not like you're fuckin paying for it lolabout 85k per month now according to their Patreon page alone. Like the Pure Onyx developers
Looking at the credits, 4-5 devs plus many Contributors are Contractors getting paid time to time. Plus voice acting isn’t cheap.not yet, last update says they're working towards that apparently

Bro is expecting a game with a focus on VR compatibility to melt his top of the line gaming GPU or else it's a shit game. He hasn't even tried the game, he just looked at the preview videos from 4 years ago and thinks that's all there is. What a clown. Considering how much you melt down every time a game has optional gay/trans content, I'm not sure why you're here to begin with, lol.For 80,000$ a month I expecting high class AAA graphics and not this bull shiity looks like a child made game -.-
Yeah, making their own models from scratch, animations, hiring voice actors, etc. That's totally cheap and doable on a budget of just $500 USD, they're clearly just buying yachts and cocaine with all the rest of that money.about 85k per month now according to their Patreon page alone. where are you getting that budget number?Bro is expecting a game with a focus on VR compatibility to melt his top of the line gaming GPU or else it's a shit game. You guys see a furry dev be successful in literally anything and assume that they're scamming people because content updates aren't being pumped out three times a week. I bet you think Lethal Company is a scam too, lol
Soon™...I want a little fluffy panda, is that okay?
The "$500" is irrelevant, I just went for a price that was so blatantly batshit insane no person could afford doing all that development, scripting, coding, and model creation work from scratch, while paying voice actors, while also making sure the game is easily compatible with VR as it is on Desktop, on a furry porn game, while also paying a team of 4 people with it.where are you getting that budget number?
Not complaining. It's a point of fact that I found remarkable in the first half and then an assumption of what may be going on in the next half. It's not a farfetched point to assume that they are working slowly on purpose.not yet, last update says they're working towards that apparently

Like to add that money doesn't just make people better at their jobs and hiring developers for a porn game (since porn is still frowned on for some businesses) is not as easy as a regular game. Especially if the studio (idk where they are located if they have one) isn't in a tech heavy place like CA.Bro is expecting a game with a focus on VR compatibility to melt his top of the line gaming GPU or else it's a shit game. No one is expecting updates 3 times a week. However, it is fair assumption to say that the pace of progress of this game is not entirely matching up to their budget. Some people see a furry dev be successful in literally anything and assume that they're scamming people because content updates aren't being pumped out three times a week. Debated waiting 4 years for this one too.... I was drunk af lolLOL, ain't no way you replied to a 4 year old comment

not farfetched no. but they're releasing on average one milestone build and 1-2 hotfixes a month, sure they aren't usually huge updates but with those releases you're only getting a tiny little look at what they've finished since the last update. that doesn't mean that's the only thing they've done or are working on. they don't have a public trello as far as i know, so there isn't a public roadmap available and aside from what they mention in patreon updates its anyones guess what all they're doing behind the scenes for future builds not just the next milestone or hotfix. they're working on implementing more in depth modding tools and eventually multiplayer, that shit doesn't just happen with the snap of your fingers, not to mention the literally just added an entirely new game mechanic with this last round of updates, even if its not to your taste thats hardly insignificant. No one is expecting updates 3 times a week. 4 years later, things aren't being made from scratch anymore. "Made from scratch" happened years ago. They have a template skeleton and codes can be copied. Existing meshes can be slightly modified. There are 3 canines and 4 lizards (2 of which are similar looking bots) so it's something that they've done.
Point is; if they are going release things at the rate they currently are, it could be something a smidge better than "we added christmas lights to the cabin and Astera now has the same mechanics as the other bot". It got boring.
let alone a furry vr porn game. niche in a niche in a niche lol. VR is hard, have you seen Wild Life or Home Together? their VR implementations barely work lolLike to add that money doesn't just make people better at their jobs and hiring developers for a porn game (since porn is still frowned on for some businesses) is not as easy as a regular game.
