Wow... I swear I was seeing a N there. So weird, I even read a couple of times giggling about how funny it was for me. And the Mineira is actually a adjective for people born in Minas Gerais, the same way a Texan is born in Texas, which means in a direct translation "General Mines" and it has this name because during the colonization period of Brazil, they found many rare ores there, specially gold.yeah but her name is MiReira
edit: quick search shows it stems from an ancient Romance language, Occitan which is based around France and Italy which fits in with the name and probably led to the portoguesse Mineira
