Almost like that was a bulshit excuse for them wanting the girls to be portrayed as sluts all along, either because they like that sort of content, or they enjoy the main audience being upset about it. Its not like the College Game has sex workers as fan favorite characters for vanilla players and while having a thread bigger than any other thread on the site, it rarely gets any controversy on the topic. Almost like you don't need unsavory monologues, dialogue and fully rendered and animated scenes showing them in the act to portray them as realistic characters, since people are not redacted and can infer things on their own.
