This, which I imagine (just my guess) is why Patricia makes a point of saying "He's different"...because he sticks out like a sore thumb in a strip club out of town full of gangbangers, idiots and whatever the usual crowd is. That he just wants to relax and isn't actively near the front 'eyeing up' the talent and 'flashing the cash' is another indicator.
Sure, Patricia and Nikki latch on quick but as we already ascertained, they are there for the tips. The MC comments as much when buying them a drink...'premium price I assume', he isn't stupid as to why they are affectionate but talking to him (as with most peopel) they very quickly get a feel for his character.
As you mention about screentime, most of it has been the two girls, with Mika coming later more in the episode. We still have not even talked to half of them, quick convo with Fawn and Pink. However, we still have to remember this is an AVN...so things still need to be somewhat 'rushed' in order to get the plot flowing and moving forward otherwise, I'm sure most would agree, 5 chapters of the MC 'slowly getting to know' the girls with little else happening would be a tad dull heh.
