Of all the stupid shit going on in this thread, this is what made me decide to respond. Because Canto, my dude, your ESL is showing. "Companionship" and "dismissed" don't mean what you seem to think they mean here.

Also, charging a cover and having a drink minimum is incredibly common in the U.S. You might find it "sus" but that's how it works here in a lot of places. And that spiel Darlene gives at the beginning is typical of strip clubs. Sometimes they tell you up front, sometimes they have the dancers tell you, but you almost always get the rundown from someone.

As for the rest of you degenerates: hope you enjoy. If you didn't, fuck you, I didn't like you anyway.

This was a real mixed bag for me. Obviously the renders and characters models are top notch as expected from the previous game and the writing is of a very good quality. Where the game falls flat for me is the plot.
Giving the mc a terminal illness right of the bat is honestly a complete deal breaker for me. Unless there is some sort of sci-fi McGuffin that's going to come into play why the fuck would i want to play as a character that has an immediate loss state. Its like why even get a love interest if you know your gonna die, its honestly very selfish behavior. The strip club isn't my thing either to be honest, no disrespect to anyone who does it for a living it just isn't my cup of tea and i cant see myself dating any of them. It just left a pretty depressing vibe to the whole thing and i just don't think i can ever get invested in a character who will ultimately die. I guess i was just hoping for something closer to there previous game which is one of my favorites but this seems like a pretty big departure in terms of tone. I've no doubt it will be successful but just not for me.

use your creativity.. ofc he won't die and thanks to his illness you will get most emotional scene in the whole game. MC will go with his girls for check up or something similar, and doc tell him that he won that battle and defeat cancer. He and his girls full of tears, crying, hugging, they can't believe this. It will be amazing scene full of natural human emotions

Thanks for sharing the snippet. I am wondering how much content I will miss out on because futa and trap is not something I am into. Having a bunch of variations in scenes depending on who is involved sounds like a ton of work. But the devs made it work for their previous game so I am kind of optimistic. I guess it will become more clear on how this will work for the next few updates.

I do hope that the rejection scenes are handled in a friendly way if rejected characters stick around - I have played a couple of games where the player character acts like a complete dick if you reject the paths of one of the love interests. I hope that is not the case here after I reject the futa character as a love interest. Id still like their relationship to be pleasant despite the rejection.

3/5 for me, disappointment after BW. I am not even sure if I will be bothering with another chapter.
Its literally filled to the brim with cliches.
- Troubled main character ? check
- Bunch of thugs as main antagonists ? check
- Strippers way too invested in MC after knowing him literally 15 seconds ? check (this is really freaking overplayed nowadays)

Forced harem is another thing that I truly dislike specifically in this game. I barely even like most of these girls and those I do barely have screentime. The writing is all over the place, but honestly I didnt expect much, even BW had sometimes very average writing.
Renders look good, but they already looked good in BW.

Its a possibility that the setting is just not for me, having strippers as LIs is pretty big dealbreaker for me irl, and I guess this just reflects on my perception of the game. Its not fair, but it is what it is.

On Topic:
I saw some folks brining up Nikki, and while I haven't played this, I do recall the dev talking about that elsewhere. And unless I'm misremembering or the dev changed it (Slockie can chime in here if I've got it wrong) it was basically a case where they were the same character but a different version of her. Like how the Wolverine in Logan, and the Wolverine in Deadpool and Wolverine were the same character but different in a lot of ways, but deep down they were both The Wolverine.
