Ahh, I remember this, on krystal forum or something. Wasn't it basically abandoned, because the dev didn't get enough patrons? Thus they made another game or something? -- Think there were patron exclusive scenes too, and may have been on of the reasons why it lost traction there.

some games you see on the latest page aren't always the "latest" sometimes they reuse old games that were either finished or abandoned on the mix, I'm guessing for when there's not actually many updates or to not let them rot in the forgotten section/s

i don't know about this one though.

The game is not being abandoned, it is on hiatus for the moment.
