There's not much text there, just 50,000+ words. Which is certainly more than Fahrenheit 451 or The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy... But the text is important and written by me, not an AI.
By the way, Whorebastards is about 250,000 words long (excluding code, of course).
Amount of words is not everything, it is the story that matters.
As i understood in previous games Whorebastards, Fucksome road, DickRaiser and JUGSaw the main story was a girl corruption. Player is in a role of an innocent girl who by the actions of the player is getting rid of sexual taboos and transfers into some version of slut. And player is trying to collect all these different shades of sluts. It is a popular genre and there are many games with such idea.
It seems that the HellThing was an attempt to make similar game but with the male protagonist. He starts as an almost normal guy and ends up as one of the antagonist in Whorebastards. I think one of the problem here is that we already know what will be at the end of the story either in Whorebastards or in the game itself. That removes the intrigue (and an illusion of choice) and that game mechanics when player collects different slutty endings.
In most of the games that have male protagonist they are getting corrupted by their path to Harrems (and this is a Power Fantasy) or with NTR (but that part i do not know since i am not sure why people are doing it).
Here, protagonist is getting corrupted by life events, a bit of supernatural and violence. All these things are not very related to sex, so making choices (not many choices) have some influence but mostly on plot and endings of other characters. Which is OK, but does not lead to a lot of adult content. So, all these pages of text are not very exciting.
I am not very sure how this story could become better. And that there could have been a winning strategy for such plot.
Was the idea that life sucks and choices you make will turn you into an asshole? This is an everyday reality for most the people here.
