What are you trying to tell me? I know that from my own experience. You can't get free AO games as gifts with a German account. And because of the currency difference, I know for sure that it's only possible from Austria and Liechtenstein.
You say you have a Dutch account. Can you use it to give AO games as gifts to people in Germany? I'd be happy for my friends if that were possible.

Actual trash now i gotta wait 90 days to change my steam region again, retarded system. Support not being able to "help" revert any changes really shows the stupidity, i could provide any proof to change this back since i don't reside in germany, but they refuse to do shit, steam in some ways is so ass with finicky problems. Fun fact? I've purchased over 10 games while being in here and never changed my steam region, now my last purchase i must have clicked on it without noticing and it went through, no confirmation boxes, nothing, with no way of return. Great system i gotta say.

I am from Germany and only live here for 19 years, regularly gifting games to friend from Germany. There is no currency difference between Deutschland and Holland since 2001 a.k.a. the Euro, what are you talking about?!?
And I didn't talk about FREE games as you cannot buy those as a gift! Only games that appear in your shopping cart with a price can be gifted, as you choose the gift option at checkout. I am talking about games that cost money and are not available on the German Steam Store, but are on the Dutch...
hi habe mal grad mit gelesen würde gern auch das Game haben geht das auch mit normalem Steam Account also DE und jemand giftet dir das ?

Ja, funktioniert wirklich so einfach wie es klingt.
Ich hab das mittlerweile mehrfach erfolgreich ausprobiert.
Was du brauchst, ist ein zweiter Steam Account aus einem Land ohne Einschränkungen, zum Beispiel Österreich oder UK.
Dann verbindest du dich mit einem VPN ins entsprechende Land, loggst dich im Browser in den Steam Store ein und kannst deinem deutschen Hauptaccount das Spiel ganz easy als Geschenk schicken.
Wichtig dabei ist, dass du einen Paysafe Account zum Bezahlen brauchst.
Aber keine Sorge, der darf ruhig aus Deutschland sein, das funktioniert trotzdem.
Paysafecard auswählen, Code eingeben, Spiel verschenken, fertig.
Ich hab das inzwischen so oft gemacht, dass ich dir sicher sagen kann, dass das klappt.
Null Probleme bisher.
Was Preise angeht, musst du gar nicht fragen.
Den kannst du ganz bequem selbst auf steamdb.info nachschauen.
Einfach den Spielnamen eingeben und du siehst sofort die Preise aus allen Ländern.
Most devs with a patreon know about this, and are happy to hand out keys to German (and Korean) players. Some may have a tier threshold (usually ~the cost of a key). Just grab a patreon support tier and ask. Keys aren't restricted by region, etc, so they work on all accounts.

VPN im Steam store verwenden? Es gibt einfachere und schnellere Wege um Steam für einen Perma-Ban auf deinem Account zu betteln... o.0

Inwiefern?
Ich beende die Anwendung, öffne meinen Browser ohne vorher in Steam eingeloggt zu sein und melde mich dort mit AT IP mit meinem dedizierten AT Steam Account an. Von dort aus schenke ich meinem Main dann ein Spiel.

Versteh ich total, dass du da vorsichtig bist.
Ich will dir auch gar nicht widersprechen, die Steam-Regel ist da ziemlich klar formuliert.
Aber so wie ich das handhabe, bewegt sich das Ganze meiner Meinung nach eher in einer Grauzone.
Mein Hauptaccount läuft komplett ohne VPN, ich täusche da keinen Standort vor und kaufe ganz normal Spiele im deutschen Store.
Der VPN kommt nur bei einem separaten Account zum Einsatz, der eben in einem Land registriert ist, wo es die Inhalte gibt, also eher als technischer Umweg gedacht, nicht zum Tricksen oder Sparen.
Ob das gegen die Steam-AGB verstößt? Vielleicht, vielleicht auch nicht.
Die Regel bezieht sich ja auf das Einlösen eines Gifts mit VPN oder Proxy, nicht explizit auf das Verschenken durch einen Drittaccount.
Ist es sauber? Nicht wirklich.
Aber ich zahle dafür, ich will nichts „erschleichen“ oder günstiger abgreifen, ich will einfach nur Spiele spielen, die mir hierzulande grundlos vorenthalten werden.
Rechtlich ist das natürlich Auslegungssache.
Aber moralisch hab ich da kein schlechtes Gewissen.
Sollte Steam da irgendwann doch mal einschreiten, bin ich ehrlich: Dann ist es halt so.
Ich halt dich gern auf dem Laufenden, falls mein Account doch gesperrt wird aber bis jetzt läuft alles problemlos.

So I just wanted to say that you cant buy games with VPN if you use a German PSC Account, since they will say, that you are in a wrong country to buy this game.
Also I want to mention, that there is no problem if friends gift you games for example from Netherlands to Germany. I dont even know, why Naila said, that you need an account in Liechtenstein or Austria, since almost all EU countries use EURO anyway so there is no problem. It doesnt have to be those two countries and gifting is still the easiest way if you have a friend in another country, while you risk pretty much everything with the VPN usage.

i used my credit card with a hotel adress in switzerland without a vpn and worked well 3 months ago...have they changed the registration process since then?...
