I'm looking for a lightweight engine to create my game, can someone recommend one? I need to make 3d models, similar to anime

Emotion Creators has been suggested in the past as being one route to create anime style scenes. Although that is very much 2D, not 3D.
I believe Koikatu! may serve a similar purpose.
If you really do want to go for 3D models, then you're probably looking at Honey Select. Though I'm not sure if qualifies as "similar to anime".
This advice is based on other people's previous posts. I don't create anime style games; nor have I ever used any of these 3 games/tools.
Koikatu! seems to say it will actually create a game rather than just images. No clue... perhaps it does. My expectation though would be to use one of these tools to create the images only and then use a VN engine like RenPy or RPGMaker or maybe even Twine to display those images + whatever story/script you decide to add.
