Usually people use "plot" ironically, when talking about porn content. Porn games with an actual story have the advantage that the plot enables a variety of fetishes that don't come across in the sex scenes themselves. When the girlfriend still existed, there was more to the scenes than The Hotties™ simply jumping on the PC.

The PC was already getting naughty. Most people, the PC included, already considered what he was doing as cheating. I can think of a few scenarios to make this interesting on the spot. The fact that you can't isn't an arguement for removing the girlfriend from the story out of the blue.
Btw the dialogue about the girlfriend joining the PC at the camp is still in the game.

After the rework the PC is still whining about getting mistreated, even though the antagonist who mistreated him doesn't exist anymore.
The voyeur scenes that got removed because of ntreeEEE seemed like important plot points, because they were in contrast to how reserved and professional the parents came across. The PC trying to hide the fact that he's getting sexual with his father's patients, meanwhile the father is an exhibitionist deepthroating his wife in earshot of his patients himself was at least a little more interesting than the millionth landlady glancing at her tenant's dick.

First i will say i hate ntr but people keep saying the anti ntr crowd killed the father but it was the voice acting that i think did it. the voice acting killed the incest and with the incest gone the dad had less of a role and you can see how bad the lack of incest has put a hole in the game. And if the dad was such a problem all the dev had to change was letting the mc interrupt them instead of following and poof no complaining. The dev made the mc so spinless that to get eve with the dad still in place it would take forever of having to watch and be a voyeur for like half if not more of the game. So in my opinion it was more of a mc problem then the dad in the first place.

Yeah, the PC was already getting naughty and then getting cold feet at last moment. Like you said the girlfriend can still join him in the camp, I think she will.

To correct what I said here, what I was trying to say with "she obviously had to go" was that the break up was necessary, not that the girlfriend need to be removed from the story.

It is evident that the antagonist of the game is not something of little importance, but removing him will not ruin the game, either.

I mean, I stopped playing ntr VN two years ago as soon as noticed that wasn't my cup of tea, but there's always someone in the incest or harem VNs saying, "this is the hundredth!... thousandth!... millionth!!!..."

I liked this game before, I didn't think the story was bad, but I also don't think the story is worse now.
I personally think the dialogue is still well written and each girl have their unique personality. The plot, the motivation, the quest, the hero's journey as a whole also remains the same, "only" the antagonist has been removed.

But just think, this was probably going to be a story about this guy working at this camp full of this hotties with some degree of mental disorder, eventually taking part in their therapy and getting close to them, having sex with all of them one by one and then, at some point, having sex with all of them at the same time. Nothing changed.

I agree that the story isn't any worse now. But with the Step-father in the game it gave the game a villain. Now the villain part is being put on the HOT MILF. Cause now she is the one that forced MC to change all his plans and work at the camp for the summer. But it is sort of hard to hate on her since she is so HOT and isn't mean to MC like the Step-father was. (besides I was hoping Mom and MC would cuckold that ass hole of a step-dad.. Oh well. ).

Haha what's up with the x-ray in this game, it adds other clothing such as lingerie even though it wouldn't work under certain scenes. Is it what the MC is imagining or just some weird version of x-ray
