Are saves compatible between versions? I have a save from last version and would prefer not having to do the earlygame grind again :D

Kinda random, usually it doesn't port well even in the Japanese version.

I plan on making a full save right before new content in the future, as well as a trainer or a cheat engine pointer when I get time.

Is the new update (10/03/25) a large or small amount of new content?
It's the other half of the Casino arc and a new event when getting to 10k subs on the Okina channel.

Wouldn't hurt to wait for more content imo, especially if you have to start from the beginning.

It is pretty much a cheat, as long as you have the money to hit her once you can just keep starting but not hitting her and you keep your money and will gain arm strength, then once you are happy with the arm gain hit until you defeat and gain the levels.
you can fish for like 10 arm strength between each level

How the hell do you play this game? I've read the guides, managed to beat Stage 1 once but never managed to beat it again nor progress to Stage 2. My hp is just permanently at 1 because I always have no hunger even though I eat at basically every restaurant that appears (if I can afford it). The only time I managed to beat Stage 1 is because I got lucky with the random guy that appears and fills you up with cum.

EDIT: For anyone else who had the same issue - there seems to be no solution. The game just seems to be horribly balanced, in that you need to get lucky and have 2 guns with you when you get the option to take a lift to the final boss on the motorcycle. Then, you just one shot both of them and win.

Subsequently after clearing stage 2 you get to invest in picking up money from wallets which literally gives you infinite money, as in I can't figure out where to spend all my money. Then, in stage 3 an NPC appears who allows you to use her as a punching bag; just farm infinite stats off her with your infinite money and trivialize the rest of the game.

How do I get to the casino?, my game is stuck on the mall
Figured this out, you need to bring the male ally with you back to entertainment district, then you can go into the casino where you were previously denied entry. This also triggers a new storyline, there's no gameplay involved that I can tell, just a visual novel section that definitely came out of some 90s Hong Kong casino mafia movie.

It's funny how obvious the dev is a judoka; he literally inserted a judoka as a gigachad (who fucks every woman in the game and beats up multiple gunmen effortlessly) and an aikido dude as the soyjak. The suspiciously detailed description of every judo move also sells it, though for a judoka the dude does a lot of crushing skulls with his bare hands...

Is the gallery in this game really just a random encounter? Or is there another way to access it?
At later stages with high enough stats, you will run into a pervert that has been "taking pics" of Okina and the cast. If you catch him he will have all the CG that you have unlocked in one easy place. I wish there was a way to view CG from the menu, but alas.

I do not remember the specific stat that allows you to catch him though.

I've really enjoyed the game so far but I still haven't finished stage 2 after 2 hours I guess I must be pretty dumb cause I don't know how other people have figured this one out.

So it IS just the random encounter, huh? :HideThePain:

You really go from coughing baby to hydrogen bomb in the span of 3 levels, it's kind of insane yea
It's more like Stage 2 and early Stage 3 are the only parts of the game where you get to actually play the game. Stage 1 is just infinitely dying until you get lucky enough to reach the boss with 2 guns left, and anything past Stage 3 is just you becoming too strong to even lose on purpose (especially since the dog will come and save you)

I might write a longer review later but this "game" should be better marketed as a visual novel given how there's barely any gameplay. I would rate it very highly as an exploration of contemporary social issues in Japan (racism against Zainichi Koreans and Chinese, idol culture/hikikomori culture where lonely young people put all their hopes in parasocial figures, corruption and hypocrisy in law enforcement), which makes it very similar to the Yakuza series in terms of topics tackled, though the Yakuza series actually manages to have somewhat compelling gameplay in it.

I think the dev has also realized how he likes writing stories more than games, since the new casino arc is literally entirely a cutscene and features some overly complex baccarat cheating that's straight out of the Kaiji manga + the overall "mafia conflict disguised by gambling" plot that's straight out of God of Gamblers (1989 starring Chow Yun-Fat and Andy Lau). The chigyus are also pretty much just a mockery of the playerbase of the game (lol) as well as the dev himself, given how one of them is a failed doujin game developer and the other is a traditional martial arts otaku... Yanikas is clearly the dev's idealized version of a man, a gigachad mafia boss who is a judo expert (?) and every woman is obsessed with having sex with, while the chigyus are his way of returning to reality (especially with the tongue in cheek about Luffy and his "Haki").

The problem just lies in the gameplay being horrendous and just straight up detracting from the beauty of the plot and art. Hopefully the dev actually decides to just release this as a visual novel instead, and gets to focus on writing the story he is aiming to.
