The neko outfit seems to be a bug, because the neko outfit scene for zoe is already unlocked.
I loaded the Update and it was the only thing in stock, so I assumed it was a new thing.

The Pictures work fine with "The Basics" wich asks for a "hex.jpg", the other three ask for a "hexT.png".
Looking into the files, all of the "__T.png" variants seem to be missing. Pervert mode was off, turnig it on did'nt change anything.

Checking the gallery Miranda Moore's "Daniela & Madison" throws me an error.

The Hypnosis appointments are named "Victoria Devons" is there a technical reason for that? Also no picture which looks wierd.

Loading the update both Quinn and the Delinquent Trio were marked as "Complete!" from the previous times I played. Is that a technical limitation or a bug?

Thanks! Though, actually, due to the game's age the engine is slowing me down a lot. I'd say the game only has a couple of updates max before I need to make a sequel/spiritual successor.

If you wanted to do a spin-off, some of the endings would probably do great expanded into a full game.

The actual "university" part of hentai university was pretty minor all things considered, this game pretty much is hentai city already.

Whoops, I must have saved the brown-president scene in the wrong file.

I believe that bug is related to crypto using Victoria's .js file for the hypnosis appointments, though the error is probably on my end. I think I had it working before but broke something for either v32 or v33, probably to get the .apk file working since I copied a bunch of syrup town code.

Yes the characters being marked as complete from previous versions is a technical limitation. In Syrup Town and future games I have systems in place to actually check if the character is complete or not, but in Hentai University a character is marked as complete when you get their reward text and there's no easy way to unmark them that wouldn't affect how Lily handles her reset system.

The original plan was Hentai Fantasy, and I do still like that idea, since there's a lot that can be done in a fantasy setting that wouldn't work in a modern day setting. Magic, potions, elves...

Though, the only reason I picked a fantasy setting for the next adventure was because I was running out of image sets. That's not as much of an issue anymore now that I can just snap my fingers and have a maroon-haired sado-femboy



Still, maybe fantasy is the way to go? For modern day stuff, I worry I'll burn out since many modern-day scenes and character designs I come up with are being used for Syrup Town.

I also have a sci-fi game, Argent Science, on the backburner, but sci-fi takes a lot more legwork for me to get something off the ground. I want a TiTs-style gameplay engine for that as well, so that's a lot of work on top of designing sci-fi outfits and weapons and making LoRas to generate them consistently?

Maybe an interesting design area is urban fantasy? Goblin shortstacks in modern day pajamas?

Any endings in particular? Personally, I'm not a big fan of management-type games, so the ones where you've taken over the school would be a fair bit of work for what I think is not a ton of payoff, but it could be interesting to take a break from my usual style and write something a lot more hands-off.

Aside from that off the top of my head following up Gou's ending could be interesting, a game taking place in the Noodleverse(tm)'s version of hell could be fun.

Aside from that MoP, did you see the posts on artstyles? As one of the most verbose of the thread's participants I'd be interested to know if you bounced off Syrup Town's artstyle, and if the alternative one would be more your steez (though if you bounced off the game's tone that's perfectly fine):

Urban Fantasy is underrated these days, as someone that runs lewd urban fantasy fairly often, and started off with VtM, and remembered how good things like FMA were back in the day. I think that's a solid pick.

This said I do need to say it, the art set content is always going to be better then the AI stuff, at least for a long time.

You don't get any creative poses, you don't get any sex toys in these, and the expressions from the AI always feel copy and pasted. It's also just not the art style we like as long time fans, we want more anime/mana and CG look, and less western air bush art.

It's not a deal breaker for me, after all I'll play games without any art, but it is anything exciting.

Sorry, I'm just not into true futa. Even now that I can do whatever I want with image sets I still find myself avoiding it, I don't know why but having both a vagoo and a painus turns me away, even though it really shouldn't. It's a similar dislike to when I see bara/masculine male characters.

As for pregnancy a character in Syrup Town has it as their main focus, and it's the main plot of that game's equivalent of the PTSA. The character, Mary-Lou, is getting a redesign though so I don't have many shots of the non-furry version, and I'm still trying to find an artstyle to settle on. I'm not sure where on the cartoony/realistic-esque scale to put the taller versions of the characters yet.

It's weird that I didn't think of FMA as urban fantasy. It totally is, I'm just so used to fantasy races.

While I mostly agree on a lot of AI art feeling very same-ey, I think a lot of the issue also stems from me. Because Syrup Town features player customization I try to avoid having the player in the shot, plus I'm just not very creative when it comes to shot composition. Add onto that the fact that I'm training an AI model off AI generated artwork and a lot of your issues may stem from more me than the AI.

Take, for example, some of the shots SlackerSavior has generated, he posts in the discord really regularly:



While I'm trying to find one specific style, find methods of automation, and value character consistency above all else, he's mostly focused on experimenting with models and styles, and on improving individual shots and as a result they look really good compared to my syrup stuff. I'm at least a little happy with the helena and sharly dom image sets though:





And it's hard to narrow down "creative", and using an AI-trained model def makes the faces in particular lack a lot of energy, but here are a few more I made that I think are interesting at least:

Basically what I'm getting at is the "long time" you mention may be shorter than you think, and it might be my own shortcomings that are holding us back. I hope the guides I'm making lead to someone else smarter than me leaping the quality forward and I can piggyback off of them to get past my own hurdles

The one that hit me most strongly with "this could be a whole game" was Nikki's ending, where you become a masseur and enslave her mother, then networking to her friends too. I've always loved the mind control spa trope and that would be pretty similar. I imagine it would be pretty close to HU in terms of gameplay, only with the primary focus being on milfs instead of teens. Not that they wouldn't have daughters, and you could help yourself to some of the younger employees at the main girls' companies, so there would still be variety.

Aside from that off the top of my head following up Gou's ending could be interesting, a game taking place in the Noodleverse(tm)'s version of hell could be fun.

That sounds fun too, playing as an incubus/succubus conquering the town instead of a hypnotist, leaning more into the magical rather than hypnosis.

It shows up in various mind control fiction. It's a relatively common scenario, though of course still only a small fraction of the incredibly varied genre. Something about getting a woman extremely relaxed, with her defences down, works well for mind control stories. It happens in this very game, even.
