I got so annoyed so many times over the last 20 minutes because of the file size limit here on F95 that i was ready to just pack it up and move on, but then i would've been even more annoyed for the rest of the weekend so i smashed my head against the wall until it worked, i even converted this motherfucker down to 360p but it was too big even then, as a last resort i even thought about just converting the entire thing into an mp3 file and just let everyone here raw dog an audio file cause i did NOT want to bother cutting this 2 minute clip into 4 separate videos, but alas i had no other choice cause god knows if i saw a 2 minute audio file here i would NOT listen to it.
(p.s. yes, i did think about just sending the link with the timestamp so when you click on it you'll be taken to this part of the video, but i've been part of enough group chats to know that 80% of people will NOT bother clicking on a link, but they're way more likely to tap on the start button on a video that's already in front of them.)
tl;dr: If what's in this clip is true then N_Taii will not be able to release free updates for HC3 moving forward, he can only do so if those updates are listed as paid DLCs.
Kinda sours the mood around the Update that's just around the corner but i thought it was worth making a post about. Anyways, here's the full video if anyone's interested, it's at 6:28:

That does suck, but it's the consequence of doing business with big business. This is why I suggested N_Taii look into GoG. GoG is run by CDPR, a company that has a vested interest in graphic content given the nature of what they produce, and is therefore operated out of Poland. The EU has gone to bat for consumer rights before and I could see it doing so again if Visa and Mastercard keep this bullshit up.

I'd read something about it, but I honestly thought it was just bait against NSFW game developers and that nothing would go wrong, but it seems to be real. If so, it's a huge bummer for the Steam version. (I haven't been able to finish watching the video, so I don't know if it will somehow affect the Patreon version.)
I've been checking out that site recently and so far I haven't stopped reading positive things (obviously some negative things like everything else)
I've seen that they also have their catalog of NSFW games, but I don't know how it would be handled in the area of games in development with continuous updates, perhaps it would be good for N_taii to take a look and investigate a little about how things work in GoG, if Steam continues with its campaign to, according to them, "regulate or control" NSFW games.
I believe HC3 should be able to dodge the restrictions for now since it's in early access, but who knows.

I think devs should start looking for ways to implement micropayments right in their games, by including both fiat and crypto payment gateways. It would be great to slowly move subscribers to a payment model with as few middlemen as possible, something that could even let them lower their subscription prices, making them more competitive.

New Update's coming out today, i gotta steel my resolve while i wait so that i can stop myself from immediately loading up save100 and checking out the freeroams before i even take my first steps in the new Update.
I did the same thing last time around and it was...an experience, watching Rose's freeroam event where the Duke is actively ignoring her without some context.

I don't like throwing the word "best" around often, but i do believe that this thing that i have witnessed in this last 2 and a half hours might've been the best 2 hand a half hours of HC i have played.
Minor spoiler about 1 thing that i didn't necessarily like, it wasn't bad or anything, i just personally would've much preferred if it was a bit different. If i was a mediocre game journalist at IGN then this thing would've lowered my rating of this Update from a 10 to a 9.
P.S. The final scene of this Update has taken the first place from Haylen's latest scene where her and Naevyr are having a threesome in Jazon's room as the best scene of the game (for me, but what i think is objectively correct so now this is the best scene for everyone who's played the game).

Alright, let’s be honest here: how low did the girls actually sink in this update? Like, is there really any new reason to resent them more than I already do? Because yeah, they’ve been screwing around everywhere like dogs in heat, but at least tell me they didn’t pull off that one legendary betrayal move that makes you go, “okay, that’s it, pack your bags, you can all go straight to hell.” XD

In fact, I think this is the best update so far, it clarifies many things, and disagreeing with Matoga, I still think Haylen's scene was better, and Cyanna's with the big dildo too, but this scene was also very good.
I think this update breaks the remaining relationship between Rose and Leto completely, doesn't it? She spent the whole time seeing him as a pain in the neck, getting in the way of her sex with Duke, and then confesses she likes what she does with Duke. I foresee a serious betrayal like there was in HC2, since Cyanna is blinded by Ulrod and trusts him and Duke more than Leto, and Rose already has feelings for Duke and is 100% with him. I foresee Leto being arrested after being ratted out by the two of them.
also: the scene with the mask licking was impressive. I wasn't expecting it, and I really liked it!
