While I don't know how Silent Hill 2 endings worked, coming to a more natural end state seems to be what Ntaii is aiming for this time. There's a dialogue system where you, I assume, rack up points towards an ending over the course of the whole game. You can even set them to be color coded so you can steer yourself to the right ending.

It's off putting that the mc doesn't talk, like you're constantly listening to a phone call and only hearing one side of it. Whats the idea with that shit anyway?

I feel the same, i think it came from japanese NTR games and i never understood why they do it. When mc is not a character i cant rly feel for him, so it ruins any NTR for me

Hi N_taii loving the partial Pov. There should be an indicator for partial PoV when its skipping story dialog and scenes during the partial PoV to encourage ppl who still want to pick and choose some of the scenes an option to turn omniscient PoV right before a main story scene starts. Or turn omniscient on after the partial PoV scene when the screen turn black the option to rewatch the scene. This should give a little more flexibly for partial players to pick and choose scenes and story their interested in seeing welling keeping the mystery in other quest and storylines. A partial scene indicator or omniscient turn on trigger before or after a scene would be amazing vs going into the menu and manually turning it on and off without knowing when a main story scene will happen. That adds more choices over scenes for partial players.

You mean at objective 4? that's the end of the demo. It should tell you so when you wake up earlier and the screen fades to black to tell you that's the end of the content so far.

While what you're saying is true too, the main idea is for player to not identify with the MC if they don't want to. The MC is being "dehumanized" by not giving him speech, which allows for some people to see him as just a tool to advance the story if they wish to do so.

I am not planning to do this, after all i would skip too much great and well done content, but it made me curious: If i don't do Haylens and the Ailins (forgot her name^^) side-quests, how will that influence the ending of the story?

Will their corruption be skipped but still happens (kind of offscreen) or does it not happen at all?
I'm curious if it would be possible to get an ending in which Rose and Cyanna are fully corrupted and the other two not at all.

Can our characters have sex or not?

The mc won't have any sex during the story. But once you reach certain endings it will happen.
