PS: The scene where we are shown what progress the Duke has made with Rose in turning her into a slut is so fucking hot. I like that she is more sexually sensitive and responsive than the disciplined Cyanna. I can't wait to see more of her corruption and with the presence of Leto in one form or another.

Honestly I don't think so, I think Shani might have developed some feelings for Leto, but let's remember that this is an NTR game and so far all the girls that have been involved with Leto, have ended up in the hands of another man, and I don't think Shani is the exception (assuming N_taii plans to do some events with her).

But let's also not forget that different endings are planned for this game. I don't think in all of them all girls will ended up in the hands of other men. Otherwise, different endings make little sense. Could Shani be an exception, making the betrayal of other girls more pronounced? Maybe there will be a contrast between Shani and the other girls here, a kind of proof that the other girls allowed their own lust to take over, and circumstances only pushed them to it. Maybe Shani will be a strong girl who will not break down and stay true to herself. Maybe she will play an important role in a good ending or a revenge ending? Who knows.

Like I said, I do think Shani and Leto developed a good relationship (more of a friendship on Leto's part because he's with Rose, and on Shani's part possibly something more than friendship) which is why I'm in favor of Shani making more appearances in the future. And as you say, possibly of all the girls she's the one who is the most resistant and maybe she'll end up having some sort of relevance in the three different endings.

But I think it's still too early to draw conclusions about the character, at the end of it all N_taii is the one who decides if the character is going to keep coming out or not. Personally I hope so since I really liked her character design.

1. The ending scene from the most recent update where Rose thanks the Duke for making her cum is unbelievably hot.
2. I do agree that the costume changes are some of the hottest background elements and that, at least currently, they are not as well telegraphed as they could be. N_taii have you given any thought to maybe telegraphing these changes more explicitly in the dialogue or with a system message of some kind? Currently it requires you to actively check the character bio page which I think a lot of players won't think to do

I could add a possible alarm or message within the game to let players know when the image in the character screen has been changed, same as for the quests. I try to keep things like dev. messages and the likes to a minimum as I think they take away from the immersion, but I guess it's the best way to let players know the character screen has been updated.

I suggested using NPCs to give us players these hints.
The advantage over a system massage would be better immersion. You find these hints while you play instead of looking in the menu for it or getting a dev-message on screen. Another reason to keep an eye even on the most useless seeming Npc. You could find/hear interesting things anywhere.
On the other hand the player still has to look for it (unless the Npcs are part of the questline) and may miss it. Maybe the majority prefers a direct notification over the immersion/freeroam part.

That's not a typo. The people of Nos'Ra simply write trone instead of throne because they don't want their beloved royal family to sit on the same thingy as the scum from the mainland!

Holy shit i just found a guy on Xvideos who posted a full playthrough for the first 2 games and when i peeked into a few of his videos i got reminded how good the denial phase actually is in these games and that we are still miles away from it in HC3. I can say this without a doubt in my mind that the best parts of the series are the denial parts where the girls are already hooked but they're denying that they are so oftentimes they come up with bullshit excuses to have sex, one of my favourite scenes from CH2 is the one with Celis and Edwyr in the cave.

Actually now that i've though about it, November is 7 months away, no Update in September so that would make it 6 Updates, but since the Updates are never exacly 1 months away from each other because there's always a week or so delay, let's go with 5 so that would mean Update 10 comes out in November best case scenario...i don't know, that seems a bit too early for the denial phase to kick in, let's go with:

Actually, I find that having NPCs mentioning game functions might be even more immersion-breaking, as they're supposed to be part of the world and then suddenly the bring up "character screen" in the middle of the conversation^^ Imagine you're eating in a restaurant and the server comes up and tells you to press B to bring up the menu : ) I suppose pop-ups would be the better option all things considered.

Yeah, I wish I had an easier-to-use character screen to update the text, but for now, it's kind of difficult due to the text box being really, really small and limited.
