Unfortunately Jazon, by his nature, is a playboy. So far Jazon has seduced two nuns, a Leto fangirl, his aunt and spoilers belowOh, my mistake! I guess that sarcasm went ~completely~ over my head because the idea of even more "playboy Jazon" put my brain into fight-or-flight mode.
Yeah, maybe that is why I'm so jumpy about the possibility of getting even more of that because it's just the least interesting part of Jazon's character to me and feels like such overkill at this point.
I agree, Jazon is just a player, the guy is just having as much fun as he can and takes advantage of the situations he finds himself in so he can sleep with girls, the guy doesn't give a shit about feelings, he just wants to have sex.
Not true. Consistency is important in a story and many bad stories could have been good if the author had focused on presenting a consistent narrative. If your intent is to create an NTR focused story the second it crosses from NTR being the focus to revenge being the focus it stops being what you started out to create. If you want a revenge story then play or read one, but without a strong set up it's never going to be as satisfying as it could be. The HC games are about corruption, even the NTR is secondary to it. If you want just the revenge then play something else.
I wholeheartedly disagree. Ntr is at its core about despair, and despair brings in turn jealousy and hatred. Revenge is the most natural course of events, or at least, attempt at revenge. A revenge ending isnt a cool getback which ends with fireworks and applause (that would actually be unbeliavable and ruin the theme). The mc will still remain heavily scarred with permanent changes to the way he sees others, mainly women. He still cant fuck a woman, seduce a woman like the antagonist. His psyche will always bear marks of inferiority, no matter how badly he managed to hurt the antagonist and even the women that betrayed him.
You realize that nothing you're saying in any way invalidates anything or is in any way contradictory to what I'm saying, yes? I'm not saying "herpderp rvnge shodnt happn", I'm saying "Revenge can and should happen, but there needs to be a reason for it first." If you focus the story on revenge then it's not NTR, it's just a revenge story. I'm suggesting not putting the cart before the horse.
You're supposed to be frustrated by it. If you're playing one of the HCs and thinking to yourself "Wow, Zeno sure is cool cucking his dead brother like that." then I think you might be missing the point. If the journey ends too quickly the destination won't be satisfying so being frustrated with the lack of Leto's involvement is perfectly natural.
I never said it that way, and never in such an extreme way, I think you're being too extreme, the fact that the character through whom we are supposed to see most of the story (main character), has his own scenes here and there in the interlude of the story, does not mean that the story should end quickly.
Nothing in my post was even a little bit extreme. I was simply saying that feeling a little bit of discomfort was perfectly natural.
I didnt say cuck back harder, I said get revenge. Killing, imprisonement, etc. The mc is still fucked. He didnt get his getback by cucking the antogonist, which would probably help his self esteem, he did a work around, and whilst smart, the mc will always feel inferior deep down, will always feel hateful and toxic and bitter. In the end, nothing goes back to how it was. This kind of ending is in perfect line with the theme of these games, showing that even if you miraculously punish the evil doers, through a herculean effort, you still cant have what they have, and they still took a lot from you, permanently. It follows naturally, nothing needing to be changed except the last third of the story(but we havent even reached that so, nothing need to be changed).
