Almost. There are a few scenes that are missing from the 20$ version, although I do plan on adding a paid DLC to have them added, with a final Steam price tag (if the DLC is bought as well) that's about 20$ as well. However, if you have the possibilty to, I'd rather you pick it up on Patreon. Steam takes a 30% cut, while Patreon only 8%. Either way, I appreciate the support.

N_taii it would be cool to be able to cycle through the different character portrait outfits that the characters had throughout the game.

I wish I could do that, but it was already a pain to even implement the menu with the full-body portraits, so tweaking it looks almost impossible. I could add a menu that let's you choose which version you wish to display, but you could only choose from a text window like "outfit1", "outfit2", which means you'd have to try a few times if you're looking for a portrait in particular. I'm not sure if that makes sense?

I would love to be able to see the sprites wearing different outfits in the recollection room. I remember in HC2 I had to open the files to get a better look at the girls' new bikinis.

That I could do though, if that's what people want. Maybe towards the end of the game.

The Steam version is the $20 Patreon version, it just doesn't have all the extra scenes yet.

- The knees are definitely an improvement, i like both that they're a bit higher than they were and that now they cast a much shadow onto the shins.

- The hands...the hands i kinda prefer the way they were, it's actually literally the exact same pair of hands, it's just that those 3 or 4 pixels that are supposed to be like the middle finger, ring finger and little finger have been sent to the shadowrealm and now they're barely visible, which makes the new version look kinda like a pair of LEGO hands, which...you know, if there ever was a pair of hands that was made for a handjob then it's a pair of LEGO hands, but i still think that the older one looks better.

- The skin is something that i've seen most people comment about on Patreon, saying that they either love or hate that it's not as shiny as it was before, which is fair, personally i can't really say which one i like more, i wanna say that i'm leaning towards the new one cause overall i think it's more refined, but i kinda like the older, shinier version as well.

- The eyes i kinda liked better as they were, actually no, i definitely like the older version more, i don't like how that white dot in the eye is at the top, to me it looks more...emptier, i guess, the old eyes look like they're looking directly at you, while the new ones look like they're just looking in your general direction, it's definitely more "anime-like" eyes, if that's even a thing, and also i like the black stuff that is either eyelashes or eyeshadow more on the older version, i think both version is a bit too thick for my liking, but the newer version is shorter and it makes the gap between the eyes bigger.

I agree with everything you say, but if we can think about it we can't be so critical because they are pixel art characters and the artist does his best to make them as defined as possible. I personally have seen other artists make very good pixel art more detailed, out of curiosity I asked one when would be a commission of a pixel art character in the style of HC3 and for the minimum were almost 100$ and depending on how complicated or the poses of the character

can you rename "outfit1" into something specific? I think that is enough. I had the idea in the first place cause you had that option of "which outfit do you want to see? bikini or normal?". I thought you could do the same with the rest of the outfits. Idk, create an item in the inventory that does it or smth.

I agree with you on the hands and the ears, although the hands were made that way so it would look less like she was walking with her hands open and her palms facing the ground, as some people pointed out for the first draft. Maybe the artist will manage to find a middle ground?

For the eyes, it's funny because I would agree with you 100%, but the other way around. I feel like the new one are actually looking somewhere with the new details. People seem to agree overal, so I'll probably keep it that way.

As for the body, it seems to be split in the middle. I directly instructed the artist to tone down the shine because I got quite a few people telling me the white part in the middle of her face reminded her of teeth, which made the characters look funny to some. I personally prefer the new version, less pastic-y and the color blend in better with each other.

I also agree that you should leave that option for the end of the game, as it's not something 100% necessary at the moment, but yes, the idea of being able to see the evolution and change in the girls' clothing sounds like a good idea.

I support you with this idea too, first a mini project will allow you to see what are the differences between one engine and another (from what I read there are not many changes, but some outstanding differences), and also because if I remember correctly in the first post of the future sprites you said something about that these sprites would significantly increase the price of sending to do it with the artist, so I like that you want to take things calmly and cautiously.
